I have quit several games because I could not get them to do what they were supposed to. Also, puzzles, that only a genious could figure out, is another reason. I, too, have had trouble saving games, and you are right. These new games are boing and don't give off any kind of suspense or fun. It really would be nice if somone would put out Zork Nemesis 2. Now, that was a game.

I must have very little taste, because I like almost every game I start.
(and among the very few I didn't like are the top 3 games on most all-time-best lists, oh well)

So I get to finish most games.
I quit Schizm because it's to difficult. Koala Lumpur because of the arcade stuff, and Wanted because it kept crashing. And a few games because I couldn't handle the interface, like Conspiracies where everytime I picked something up, I had to drop an inventory item on the floor.
And I have Paradise on my todo list, so I'm getting curious about that beehive thing smile

I played Paradise and had to quit. I never could get the through the tree puzzle. That was a good game but the puzzles got harder. I guess I just don't have enough patience for a lot of the games. Games like Dracula Origin and Zork Nemesis are fine for me. Am looking forward to playing Last Half of Darkness. This is where Gameboomers comes in handy. If they cannot solve the problem, no one can. Thanks Boomers

I only quit one game & that was "The Experiment". It was so frustrating trying to get around. Judy

I never quit a game. But if Gameboomers did not exist I probably would have.
I got to the end of so many games because of the kindness of the moderators and fellow gamers who sent me saved games.

Not admitting defeat... is the beginning of the solution.
But sometimes asking for help is not a bad idea!

I have'nt quit any game as of yet but I have serveral that are lingering, while I try to get through them. A couple even with walkthroughs, I can't get through as they are in a place where a save won't even work. I should take them out and shoot them, but just to stubbern. Still working on the very early Mummy. Just can't get out of the mine in time. Also 80 Days around the World, keep burning up the boat.

I'm the same as most people here. I've just given up on Broken Sword 3 because I find the key board controls just too hard to activate during the times sequences.
Anka - because I hated that kid's voice.
Ana Capria ( not sure if the spelling is right ) because I just got bored strolling round and round and round.
The timed area in lost crown was OK because you learned where to place each object at each try so about 6 tries had it done.
I don't buy Nancy Drew because of the timed areas but I do like the untimed puzzles so find this a bit sad.
How ever, life is short and it's best to call quits on a game if it stops being interesting.

Has any one seen any little gray cells around as I think I've lost some? Reward for finder.

I have stop playing a game for long periods of time when there is such a hard puzzle with a timer which seems it always run out just when your about to solve the puzzle. But for the most part if the game is really frustrating I find that my help many times come from the Boomers to get me through. And when I finish the game most likely I will not play it again there are too many good games out there to play and enjoy without frustrations.

When I intially answered this question, I took it to mean to quit the game entirely. As in take it off the computer and bounce it off the wall. I've done that once. I have, however, taken long breaks in playing a game that doesn't really capture my interest. Like the one I'm playing now. I'll finish it, but it'll take a while.
