I love the Carol Reed games. I've played all but Hope Springs Eternal. Nothing fancy, just straight forward sleuthing....find clues, objects, new locations, and talk to (colorful) characters. No "chores filler" like in Nancy Drew games.

Funny, I've never noticed the notebook in previous games, just the latest, Colour of Money.

LindaMarion -- you'll hire an editor just for us? That's doing a lot! thumbsup

No need -- the way you were posting a year ago here was fine, with capitalization and typing out the full words. Just return to the way you posted in 2007!

dragonuk44, I just got back from checking walkthroughs and reviews for evidence of the notebook. I'm thinking, "You mean I could've gotten hints all this time instead of pulling my hair out strand by strand?!" rotfl

Thanks for clarifying!
