DTD, are you still stuck?

Gaily, did you finish the game?

Cmcd, glad you liked it. How long did it take you?

I was still stuck... so I started all over again, and this time I managed to make enough money to get past the "stuck" part. So I am happily in China now! It must have been a bug, I think... but by starting all over again I'm OK now. I may make it back to the USA by Thanksgiving! (Update 11/21: I E-mailed on this as suggested two days ago, but never got any answer back...)

I have the same problem as DTD, and I went for all the money each time I got the chance. Maybe BFG will have some information??

DTD, they are usually good to respond. Did you check your junk mail or spam folder?

If there is no answer from them in those folders, I would try again. E mail does go astray occassionally. You should have at least gotten an automatic reply. puppy

I did get a response... just after I put on the post above, of course. They said they had contacted the developer and would get back to us with information (patch, etc...?) if they find anything out. Since I got through the 2nd time by doing a different sequence, this could take them a long time to figure out. Probably a "beta testing" issue with not trying enough combination sequences of "earning money" vs "playing the scenes" to get the "hang" that some of us have gotten. So I personally do not need a response, since I got through the game, but others would benefit from a patch to avoid this same issue in the future.

Yup. I thought some of the voices and dialogue were goofy.

I just finished the game. The only drawbacks are the bickering voices of the brother and sister. I hope that changes for the sequel.

Oh, I think this was definitely targeted to the younger set. That's not a bad idea, since most of us are adults and it would be good to get more kids and preteens/teens involved with these.

The "snarky little girl" and "useless boy with book" stereotypes were a bit much for me as well, and I hope they do change that. I'd also love to see a hard mode where you weren't walked through every puzzle.

Still, I bought the game because I liked a lot of things about it, and I did enjoy playing it.

thanks DTD

If you hear back, we'd love to know what they say. You never know who else is going to have the same problem wave

I've been catching up on all the games I purchased but never got a chance to play. Just finished this game today and I had a lot of fun.

It's a lot easier than some games because the characters walk you through it but still enjoyable and probably gave me about 4+ hours of gameplay. Plot reminded me a lot of the movie, National Treasure. I didn't mind the voices because I turned off the voice overs, lol!
