Kings Quest 8 for the same reasons that Venus stated. I loved all the other games but this one was a real letdown for me.
Simon the Sorcerer 3 jumped the shark for me. I loved the puzzle/humor style of the first two Simon games. It reminded me of what they did with the third Indiana Jones game.
Riven. The graphics were beautiful but the game was a zero for me. To be fair I am not a huge fan of first person games.

It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

Art of Murder did it for me... everything just seemed difficult to do, I'm not sure why. I felt so frustrated all the time. I finally gave up when

Click to reveal..
I couldn't do anything at a crime scene, and discovered it was because I needed gloves, but I'd tried to pick them up before and I couldn't, so I assumed they were useless. Instead I had to go back and get them!

I was so annoyed at that, I just turned off the game and never plan on going back. I do have other half finished games but I do plan on replaying them at some point, but that one never again. Oh, and all the Myst games, but only cos I think I got a bit bored. I am more a fan of knowing up front what happened, what I have to do and where to go. But I may try the Myst games again some day...

Koala--me too, on White Wolf. Normally, I don't mind (too much, anyway) that Nancy gets stuck doing everyone's menial work for her mini games, but usually they at least let the plot get started before they send her in to do dishes! In White Wolf, I swear, the dishes and cooking were just about the first thing she did. Talk about something I could (hee! SHOULD!) be doing IRL. Heck, cooking in real life is a lot more fun than cooking as Nancy.

So, yeah, White Wolf is still installed, waiting for me to get really, really bored enough to play it. I'm not sure that level of boredom exists, though. laugh
