Hi Robbo,
Me again. I seem to be stuck in the room with the broken lift. When I exit, I can jump onto a floating island in the lava, but can't crouch down low enough to avoid getting knocked off by a low overhang. Am I doing something wrong? Is there another way out. So far I've only collected 3 gems.

I must be close to the end of the game. However I have a question:has anyone managed to make it past the lava jumps after you have to run like heck while the earth under Hyde's feet literally crumbles beneath him. I have given up trying to do the lava jumps so will have to go back and start at the running sequence once again. I just wanted to know if anyone had any tips on how to get past all that jumping over the lava lake...and I am almost at the end of the game? Thanks.

Hello and happy holidays to everyone! I need some help in the lava area I believe must be at the end of the game...I have managed to jump the first area and reach a higher rocky domain. From there I jumped down to an area with rocks that collapse when you jump on them. I made it over that area and now am on a flat surface that I have run down and climbed up more rocks but at the end of that area I have a long jump. I think I have to make that jump. If I stand still and look around the lava rises and kills me. When I try to make this long jump I fall into the lava and die. I have also tried climbing up the cliff face but fall off...can anyone give me some direction please. Also does the game save anywhere after this part or do I continue on to complete the game...I have to go out soon so am leaving my computer on so I don't have to go back to the beginning of this level...Whew, don't want to do all that again...thanks for any help...

This is probably very late, well, it's Xmas Day and been busy!
Gamil, you have to jump up on the fixed piece of rock and jump off again onto a floating piece.

Linda, you are at the stage where I get stuck and can't go any further. I'm wondering if I took a wrong turn somewhere, but the route you describe does seem to be possible right to the end bit, where I too fall into the lava. Can't get any further with this game so its 'mothballed' till such a time as someone can offer a saved game to get past the hard bit.

Robbo,
Happy holiday to you and yours! I now have 4 gems. I tried jumping from the fixed rock onto the floating rock, AND SUCCEDED! However, the floating rock passes under a low overpass and knocks Hyde off, even when he's crouching. (This is from the exit to the "lift" room). Am I in the right place? Also, I can't seem to find the room with the boxes again. HEEELP!!

Linda, You need to keep running straight ahead. Do not stop because the lava keeps rising. If you go fast enough you will keep ahead of the lava. There is a save at the end of this sequence. Then you will have another area of lava.

Hi Gamil and Happy Hols from the UK!
These are my notes for that section:
(from the 'power room') go upstairs top right, jump on moving block, take ice potion, go into the lave flow, come out again, jump on rock, take potion (not sure if this is essential but its what I put), jump onto moving rock, jump onto land and up.
Go up the stairs to balcony area,(SAVE), use switch on wall, enter.

Room with boxes - do you mean the ones where you move boxes and jump up to the walkway? Cos that bits done, you cant get back there.

Ok, now I really am at the end of the game but Henry cannot rescue his girlfriend due to the creature on the other side of the boulders and the boulders. Any ideas how to get to the end? I keep refreshing all of the powers but keep getting killed.

Well after hours of running, jumping and dying I finally made it over all of the lava. Jumping over and escaping the rising lava to reach a new save...then just as the game said -saving the screen turned grey, Hyde walked/ran in slow motion and the whole game just froze. No matter what I tried I couldn't get out of this mess so I had to close down my computer...I know this is a crazy question but is there any way at all to get a saved game here????? Help! I don't know if I have enough energy and patiance to start this sequence all over again....Thank you.

Rockingrjranch - sorry, no can help, I cant get that far.

Linda - Bad luck, how frustrating, I've had the game crash a couple of times but not at such crucial moments.
If anyone sees this and would like to pass on a saved game:
In Windows 7 (and probably other versions eg Vista and XP) saved games are in C:\Users\yourusername\My Documents\J&H
where yourusername is the login name you use for your account.
Theres a file called 'Hyde.ini' in the main J&H folder and theres 2 sub folders called 'SaveLua', which has the actual save data files in it, and 'SaveTex', which has screenshots of the saves.

Linda, I'm so glad you made it, but then eek! I'm hoping someone will have a game for you.

Gamil, so glad to see you are on your way again.

Robbo, thanks so much for all your help. wave12

Well after my "crash" I went back and did it all again...hooray! Now I need to know in the area with the moving rock formations in the lava lake what do I need to do: I jumped on to a rock formation and floated around but couldn't figure out where to go from there...this is right after the villan says "Henry you bleat like a lamb" or something of that nature...some direction please...also is this almost to the end of the game and are there any more saves after this point? Thank you once again.

Linda, you need to keep jumping to higher posts until you get to the highest one. there you will be able to jump to a solid platform and you will get a save. There are 3 more saves after this one.

Rockingrjranch. I did it by starting at the far right side then press number 3 to slow down the rocks and work your way through them while moving to the left.

Linda. You have to jump from one moving post to another always going higher. When you get to the highest post you will see a large rock you can jump on to.

No matter how long I try I just can't get past this area of the game. I manage to jump to 2-3 floating stumps-rocks but never see an area to reach...ususally I die trying to jump to a higher stump-rock. I must be close to the end of the game and I don't want to give up now. However I am tired of re-doing this part over and over. Is there anyway to get a saved game just past this part? If not any help appreciated. Thank you.

Well, I posted where to find save-games, its up to someone who is past this bit to please offer to send them. I would think email attachments would work, there are 3 files to send.

Linda, bravo12 for making it past that level.

Robbo, the save information is much appreciated. I think the problem lies in the fact that not a lot of our members have played this game. wave12

Linda, You have two more saves to go and then you will be at the final sequence. It's not too difficult until you get to the final part. That part I have tryed well over 100 times and have not been able to complete it so I gave up. When you get there let us know if you successful.
