They were both pretty good but I think I preferred the speed of the Voice 2's speech. It's often a mistake of people who arent pros to speak too slowly in their effort to "act". Keep it quick and snappy the way normal dialog is spoken in real life, that would be my recommendation. Good luck with it:-)

Both voices were good and gave you a different mental image. Depends on the character.
Voice one sounded older, grizzled and rough. Tough guy that's seen some hard times.
Voice two...a bit more youthful. Could be a professional. Perhaps someone who just stumbled in being in the wrong place at the wrong time and is now stressed and anxious.
Could you post a picture of the actual character?

Thanks everyone for your opinions and comments. I guess I will try to clean up voice 1 a little more since that seems to be the favorite. NOTE: There will subtitles in case you have trouble hearing the audio. @JKEerie: You can see the character in a few of the screenshots on the website (and in demo) here ( http://www.lasthalfofdarkness.com/moon )

Definitely like your voice the best, William. Sounds like a tough, sexy, scary, Jack Nicholson voice...wonderful for a horror game!
(and for the ladies.....lol)

What, that's not reason enough? <g> It came on this computer or I wouldn't have it and I wouldn't have known it was Quicktime without the blue Q logo that came up on screen. AFAIK, it's just another media player.

I had not trouble understanding voice 1. I really liked it for this kind of game, so you have my vote for voice 1.

I played the demo of the first Nick Chase casual (didn't buy it, though) and the first thing that struck me was the lead's voice. Maybe it is the equipment the developer used that made the difference because I could almost have sworn it was Bill's Voice 1 but a little clearer.
Just thought I'd mention it.
