I think part of the issue is people played the first one and loved it and so they had high expectations for this one to be fresh and appealing. The reason I'm not too disappointed is b/c I played the first one when I was very young so I don't remember it very well. There is a free download for the original on my PS3 if I type in this code so I'll be playing the original next. Perhaps after playing the original my mind will change.
