They definitely offer the SSD, but I don't know if they set up the SRT. Essentially, you connect the HDD and the SSD to the same controller and enable RAID in the BIOS. Watch that video I linked you to - it really explains it well with my favorite - pictures!

One thing I would ask of where ever you get your new PC is whether the HDD is SATA III. At eCollegePC, it doesn't indicate if it is SATA II or SATA III.

I cant recall seeing that either but I can email them and ask them if it SATA II or SATA III. They answer pretty quickly since I have already asked them several other questions pertaining to the new computer.

And in case I wasn't clear, the Intel Smart Response Technology is already available on your Z68 motherboard. You just have to set it up and enable it.

I jusst checked with eCollegepc and the HDD is SATA III. As for the SRT they will set everything up for me with the SSD.

Wow, how cool is that. This company is located only about 50 miles from me in St. Louis. I've had them build 3 computers for friends so far. One of them had a problem - the power supply was dead. I emailed and within about 30 minutes the issue was resolved. I happened to have a brand new spare one here and they sent me the shipping label for returning the defective one and credited my account instantly. I was pretty amazed.
