Timelapse

I have two questions:

1. The camera. I've been through two "ages" and haven't come across it yet. Did I miss something? Can I go back and get it if I did?

2. The leaf puzzle in the Anasazi age. I don't want any hints, it's just I've been wandering around for hours and have not found the slightest clue to help me solve it. Will I find it if I keep wandering or is this a puzzle which requires omniscience on the part of the player, or maybe a tiny pixel in the corner of a screen which you click on bringing up a clue? The puzzles have been really good and sensible so far and logic and close observation has got me through without any hints, so this puzzle has ruffled my feathers a bit

Hi Wincey, the camera is to be found quite near to the beginning of the game. Can you go back to Easter Island?

The leaf puzzle, from what I can tell (I looked at the walkthrough), requires careful observation and sequencing. What I just said is awfully vague, so if this doesn't help, we can try to add further hints.

I don't think I can return to Easter Island so it looks like I can't get the camera. Oh well.

Can you tell me if this close observation is of the puzzle itself or somewhere else around the age? Is walking around going to get me anywhere or am I wasting my time? I've been looking for something to do with colors of the leaves, some kind of pattern, with no luck.

What you see on the back wall of the sand pit is a clue. As far as a pattern is concerned:

The camera is nice, but you can get along just fine without it.

Sorry guys, one more question-

Anyone have tips for the Mayan temple steps puzzle? The one with the lizard and the skulls.

Here is a clue: the codex page on the floor by a plant, lists the moves for the puzzle. If this isn't enough to go by, I will provide another clue.
