I tried to load up my game but I don't have a save near that portion but I do have some notes.
Does that note say that number one is in the proper place or does it say there is one number in the proper place with white on the note?
Anyway, I am not sure if all games are exactly the same for this puzzle or are random. What I did was systematically find which number is in the right place then develop of system to eliminate numbers in a row that aren't returning the results needed for the spinning boxes.
The symbols that are stamped onto the key represents numbers. I think there are 4 numbers you are looking for. I have a 4 digit number circled in my notes that I think was the correct one and also a second number that you will find for a second part but that one you shouldn't have as much trouble with.
I could give you my number or one of the numbers or two to see if it works for you but not knowing if this is random or not I don't know if it will work.
