I am in the factory trying to put Oscar back together again. I KNOW I have tried all the skin tones but have not found the assembly line 3 to check if I am right. Exactly where is it?

Go back down to the shopfloor, go forward towards the rows of machines then up (towards the computer screen) either one or two rows.. check out each workbench, there is only one where you can interact.

Just to add - you'll know if correct, the complete production steps from picking up the wood, cutting, drilling and finished product is seen on the cutscene.

Line 3 will be the one to the right of the screen at the foreground looking down on all of the assembly line.

Well I got a pair of feet for Oscar but he refused them. Is this the place to always look for the boots, because again I went thru all the colors & no boots. Kate keeps saying, each time she talks to Oscar, that maybe she has forgotten something? I have done everything I think, turned on power to factory inserted punch card, pulled levers, have lights on console, etc.

There's only one place to get Oscar's feet.

Talk to Oscar about everything.
Find out that he needs part XZ2005-B for feet.
You get a punch card.
You used the forklift just outside Oscar's room to bring material to the factory.
You turned on the power to the assembly line using the room at far corner of the factory.

Control panel -
Insert Oscar's punch card in the slot at bottom center of the panel.
Pull down the lever for assembly line 3 (only one that works) at bottom right and the light will turn on.
The lever on the left of the punch card selects the skin tone of Oscar - flip the lever to select tan color (selections are tan, white, brown and mottled brown).

If you've done this - maybe best to go back to a saved game and redo - it might jar something.

I checked out another WT from 911 cheats & it says to press the master knob on the console. I did that & that is when I got a pair of feet altho not the one Oscar wants. All the other things I have done (went back & checked) do you know about the "master knob"?

Verify that the punch card Oscar gave you is in the control panel's center slot. The number three red light is shining on the right side panel. And, the yellow light shows in the number three position on the left panel. You're ready to make some legs! Click the lower left lever with the black knob to the light gold color. Then pull the opposite black lever on the right. A new set of legs for Oscar will be produced on the assembly line, in a fascinating cutscene.

If I can add something here--I had trouble with this leg-making process, too, Mome, because I kept choosing the wrong color of wood. Everytime I made a pair with the wrong color of wood, I'd take them to Oscar, he would reject them, and Kate Walker would say something like "Maybe I've forgotten something."

Pay no attention to what Kate Walker says. If you have gotten a pair of boots out of the assembly line, even if they are defective, you haven't forgotten anything.

I suspect that you just need to change the color of the wood to the right one. There are 7 choices, as I recall--if you can't tell the differences between them (and I couldn't very well on my monitor), then concentrate on the lighter shades.

I am trying to get a blood sample from Boris. Cursor indicates that I can get it but when I click on Boris nothing happens.
