Seven Games of the Soul - 03/17/07 02:15 AM
Hi, All. I have a question:
Does anyone know who voiced Mephisto in this game? I can't find the info on the internet.

Hi Melly. How did you like the game? I had started on it and it seems there was a glitch or something and I uninstalled it. It's been a while back so I don't remember what the problem was.

Thanks, Marian! It is very much appreciated.
Terri -- I loved the game because of the ambience, music and voice acting. It is aesthetically a delight. The puzzles were a little tough, but I highly recommend it.

I'm replaying it along with a group from AG. Mephisto's voice is a treat. "Come here, Pussycat" .
If you want more of the same, try Legend of the Prophet and Assasin and The Ring. He's featured in those as well.

Ah, "Come here, Pussycat". My computer opens with that wonderful voice and phrase every morning!

Thanks Marian, I had no idea he was in Dark Messiah- may have to reconsider playing that!

Ha, Nickie, too funny!!
Definitely an incentive to give Dark Messiah a try.
Seven Games of the Soul crashed a couple times on me, when finishing one chapter and going on to the next. I was able to finish the game though. Even though it dropped me back to Windows when I reloaded the game I found it had recorded that I was ready for the next chapter and all I had to do was click on load (even though no saved game) and then click on restart -- to restart the chapter not the game. If I did not restart then the game would just take me back to the end of the previous chapter over and over again. Had to "restart" to continue on.
The ending of the game was a disappointment to me.
Both of them.

Yeah, I didn;t like this game as much as I expected to. I had a lot of trouble running it, the sound was bad and the endings were disappointing and predictable. Also, the stories seemed disjointed and disconnected.
I guess this is one of those games you either love or hate...

I loved the game, but when I tried to replay it, I had technical difficulties, also. It is one of those games that gets better with time because I only have the memories. It would be nice if I could get it to work on XP (or even Vista in the near future.)

I'm playing it on XP. All I had to do was decrease audio acceleration.

I guess that works for some people. It didn't work for me, don;t know why.

It didn't work for me either, I had an awful problem with the sound. Other than that, I thought it was a fantastic game, totally immersive.

Can someone post a downloadable sound bite for "Come here, Pussycat"? That is so cool.
