If you go to this amazing Runaway site - you will get to the main pgae.
Go to downoads and then music.

You can get Mp3's of all the variations of the Runaway song, performed by Liquor.

ARMS Runaway Site

You have to wade through a few pop-ups, but it is worthwhile. Go to englich version or click on "ENTER" button and then downloads and then music.

Re: runaway theme song - 05/28/04 07:09 PM

I've posted about this in the past. It is by Liquor. They are a Spanish band, and the song IS called Runaway. I've done a fair bit of searching about this because I reeeally liked the sound of them. Very similar to an Irish band called the Cranberries.

My best information that I can give you is this, but I'd welcome more from anyone else on how to get a portal to their music (releases).

I've got listed under my wanted 'games' on GameTZ, the Special Edition version of Runaway. This version, as far as I can see, is only available in French, but includes background stuff PLUS a MUSIC CD of the Runaway music tracks.

As I say, if anyone sheds any more light on this I'll be interested.

Oh cr@p. It looks like they're wma files.
Why can't they use mp3 or ogg?
I wonder if there's a way to convert them.

Re: runaway theme song - 05/29/04 11:41 AM

Did you use WinRAR on them Lucca ?

What is the final size of your music files ? Tell me what you see when you right-click the file, and view properties, and I'll tell you what I have.

Re: runaway theme song - 05/29/04 08:59 PM

I don't see why I'd need WinRAR.
The files unzip both with Ark (in SuSE Linux) and with Stuffit on OSX. The problem was getting a wma file to play.

I found a version of mplayer for OSX at VersionTracker which is able to play wma files and I'm able to listen to the files with that.

I just wish I was able to install things in SuSE Linux as easily as I can with OSX. So far I've only been successful with installing WINE and Mozilla on SuSE.

Okay. No problemo Jenny. Just trying to help you out. I was going to suggest something else, but didn't want to state the obvious, although I think you'll have a handle on it soon from what you say. Good luck with your player. wink

Re: runaway theme song - 05/29/04 09:57 PM

Mplayer is giving me a problem. It crashed while I was trying to make a playlist for them. I can't get it to make a playlist. So I have to play the files individually. It is also showing the Runaway.wma file to be 13 minutes long, when it's really about 3 minutes. It seems to have bugs.
Please feel free to email me the details if you know a better way to play the files, Gelert. Or at least a way to convert them to mp3 or ogg so I can play them on the Linux computer.

Re: runaway theme song - 05/30/04 11:38 AM

Hi Lucca,

For comparison, my files range from 1.0 Mb to 2.5 Mb. When I 'UnRAR' them I right-click on the file and see the 'RAR' options in the menus. For example, for the 'Divas' file I select 'Extract to Divas/'. I don't use the 'WinZIP' menu options. My WMP version is version 9.0. The files also decompress using WinZIP. I downloaded the files using 'GetRight' download manager. I downloaded one file at a time.

Lucca, it sounds like you may have gotten bad downloads. Try downloading them again and check the sizes.
