Machinarium: new demo,video and release date

Amanita Design has released a new short video of the new game, Machinarium:

The release date for digital channels (machinarium.com, Steam, Impulse,
etc.)is the 16th October 2009, if you pre-order now you will get also a pre-order pack" (5 hi-res pictures and 5 MP3 tracks from Machinarium soundtrack).

I pre-ordered mine last night! The mp3's are actually quite nice.

Steam is now taking pre-orders for this game for $14.99, which is a 25% discount.

I nver thought I would enjoy the game, but from playing the demo, I think it would be great. What a hoot...I loved it.

You can also preorder the game for $17.00 (this includes a "pre-order pack") from the developers if you want to support them directly. The price will be $20 once the game releases.

To preorder, click here and then click on "preorder" near the top of the screen. That will take you to the preorder page. If you then click on the "preorder now" button and get a message that your action is blocked, hold down the "ctrl" key and click again.

I just preordered from the developer, I'd rather support them. It looks like fun!

I pre-ordered directly from Amanita as well. I got some preview screenshots and soundtrack mp3's. I was very satisfied.

I ordered directly from them also...hey, I agree with Ana, why not support them when I can. Too many developers can't get their games out to us these days, so hey, help if I can to keep them making me HAPPY!

It released today! I got my download link in my emails today. WooHoo!
I played the first 15 minutes and I'm hooked! I can't wait to find time and explore everything this weekend. What fun!

Me too! I am so excited, but I have SOOOOO much to do today that I am afraid I will be late starting!!! Can't wait ...

Me too, I started my download last night then went to bed (more than 1 hour for download). Has anyone else shut off their hardware acceleration setting before starting this game? Their email recommended doing this when starting the game.

I got it. Just have to run it through virus scanners and install it.

I'm still in the process of getting mine. It's going kind of slow but that's okay. There's probably a lot of people downloading at the moment.

I'm pretty excited though from the few comments on it so far.

I didn't do a thing other than check every so often on the download. On my first try, SLOWWW and then it stopped. Thought it was finished, but it wasn't, hadn't completed, just stopped! Ruined that one, had to start over again, but this time it was somewhat faster...so I have gotten to play some.

OH MY, I love it.
