If some of you read French, the walkthrough is out in the French part of the site.

Look for the drawer "et aussi...." and then click on "Soluce".

I come tonight just to announce that we have an english forum too, if you need hints (just hints). Perhaps it may help you at the beginning. After, you may help the following players, here or there, as you want

There, I've put today some hints as post-it in the "Need Help" forum. For instance, a better map of the roads-maze, for I know it's a very hard riddle.
Axolotl (who traduced Atlantzone yet) is the moderator of the english forum. Then don't be afraid of being misunderstood.
Just choose, at the top, "british" (or let "french") and you're at home

Today, I have a question for you...
Remembering what had happened with Atlantzone, so successful that we had exceeded the limits of our server a few times, we have taken our precautions for Amertis: good web host, website and forum easy to read.
We are therefore surprised that there were fewer than 60 downloads of the english version (against more than 5000 for the french version)...

You are those who have the most and best responded to its announce.
Perhaps then you have an idea on why our game seems so disdained by others ?

I don't think the game is disdained. The downloads might pick up later.
There might be several factors that cause the low count:
- the timing; there are several adventure and casual games that came out this holiday season. The gamers might still be catching up on those.
- the gamers might still be on vacation and some are catching up on work. When they have gaming time, then they will come and look for available games.
Any good free games are popular; so let's wait and see.

I'm with you Richard....I am liking the game so far, but I am also at the house, in the beginning, and I'm stuck as to what to do as well. I haven't found the amulet yet, but the woman has disappeared and now I'm just wandering around. I did find the red donkey game, and wow that's a killer. Can't do it for the life of me. But....I'll keep trying and hopefully there will be a walkthrough in English soon. Great Game though, can't wait to move on.

The red donkey game is just a game into the game. It's not imperative to solve it
For more hints, I think it shall be on the Hints Forum here, or on our forum (there is an english one).

Thanks grelot04...it's nice to know that I don't have to complete the red donkey game to complete the game. I thought maybe I needed to do it in order to move forward. It makes me feel alot more comfortable knowing I don't have to...maybe now that the pressure is off, I can finish it. I will visit the site with questions. I've actually been there quite few times already and enjoyed my time....you'll be hearing from me.

Monday, January 25:

A new (and I think final) version of the game is available:
- The plan of the maze of roads at the beginning of the game now includes 2 indices which allow, with a little observation, to identify where you come from and where you have to go.
- A few remaining bugs, minor and non-blockers have been corrected.

Even if you started the game, you can replace your old "Amertis" with this version. Your saves will not suffer and be kept.

I am downloading the new version now- do I understand correctly that I should download and replace the file or should I remove the old version and put the new one in its place.. I don't want to loose my saves

Hello Winfray !

You may put the old version (the entire "Amertis" file) to the trash and then unzip the new one and... play.
All your saves will be kept because they are not in the Amertis file, they are just cookies.
Then, you have to fear your cookies cleaner, but not the new download

Thanks Greloto4--- I gotta laugh though-- I waited for your response, but it did not matter-- guess my cookie cleaner got to the saves already- - guess I will have to amend my ccleaner program LOL-- well it will be easier the second time thru fortunately for me I was not all that far

i was interessted in getting this game until i saw you'd have to fiddle with CCleaner. I am a wuss when comes to fiddling w my pc. i went to glitches because Mad had posted the question there about help on that very subject...i got to glitches, stopped to get phone, and when back...Mad's post GONE! is there any way it can be put back for those of us needing same help?

Could be your security settings are too high or IE doesn't allow some script.

The link is working fine this end. The website address is www.amertis.org . Once you're inside the English language part of the site, click on the Downloads tab and that'll take you to the page I linked to.

Works fine for me too.

Since the so nice and so kind review from Greg Collins on Just Adventure ( here ) , a lot of english players download our game

But... I just received this notice from our webmaster :


Then, don't be afraid if you cannot join our website or its forum, it must be temporarely (I hope so ).

Before trying your links I tried the home page. I now tried it agai and again got the result ..............
"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

I have no firewall or other impediments and every other download hgoes and has gone with absolutely no problems.

Your links give me the same error message.
I can't understand it.
Is there any other way of testing or of obtaaining the download?

I have just read on the JA+ Forum that at least one person has the identical problems to me and cannot dowload and gets the same error message.
Like him, Internet Explorer has been 100% reliable for me for years and I do not want to even try Firefox or any other browser.
Since the game is freeware, how ubout uploading it to a free upload-download Site which has always been 100% efficient such as MEGAUPLOAD - there are others.

I don't know why few players have problems via Internet Explorer, because our website has been sucessfully tested for all the browsers.
Just hope that the change of servers will help...

We didn't choose Megaupload or others because there are not so "illimited" than they say.
But, since the game is free, you may ask to a friend who has successfully download the game to share it with you by this way
