It was a great game and worth the 13 or so dollars it was selling for.

I agree! Totally absorbing game...puts the gray matter to work. Clever puzzles and hint system.

There is a walkthrough at Gamezebo. Great puzzle game, will be buying it.

Re: The Tiny Bang Story - New IHOG on BigFish - 05/15/11 07:05 PM

I just bought this game. There were so many of you playing this and obviously enjoying yourselves that I just couldn't resist.

Made it through the first "section" without tearing all of my hair out, just a small handful.

What an enchanting game. I switch between smiling because the interface is so charming and frowning because I can't find what I am looking for. I have already bookmarked the walkthrough and will be frequently peeking at the original thread here at GameBoomers.

I am stumped getting through the second arcade game. Just when I think I am in the clear, I make a fatal mistake. I'm sure I will get through it eventually either through quicker reflexes or just dumb luck.

Good luck on the arcade game, Jeanne! I'm sure you can do it. smile

Re: The Tiny Bang Story - New IHOG on BigFish - 05/16/11 04:50 PM

Hi, everyone!

I really enjoyed the demo and read all of the positive reviews here at Gameboomers, so I used one of my punch card credits and bought it. Now I'm stuck!

I'm still on Level 1 and am missing the last piece of pipe. I've clicked on the "Help" button, but nothing happens, so it can't seem to find the elusive pipe piece either. I even started over with a different Profile with the same result.

Am I supposed to do something before the last piece of pipe appears. The only items I haven't used yet are the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle.

Thanks!

Susan

I haven't played the game yet, Susan, so hopefully someone else here will be able to help. wave

You've looked at the walkthrough on Gamezebo?

Susan,
I was in the same predicament looking for that final piece of pipe. As I recall, the last one I found was indeed in plain sight, it was just pretty small compared to the others I had found. I think I just went scene by scene clicking on *anything* that could possibly be a pipe. I believe the piece I found was part of a bannister in the next to top level. Verrry tiny piece.

Hi, Jeanne!

Thanks for your response! Right after posting my plea for help, I did manage to locate the last piece of pipe in the chest, but I still don't understand why the "Hint" button didn't locate it for me. I'm now on Level 2 attempting to connect the pipes. What is it with me and pipes grin ?

This really is an enjoyable game!

One thing about the hint system, if the item you are looking for is in something, like a closed drawer or covered hole, you will not get the hint to show you where it is. It will only go to something that is in sight.

Stuck on the 2nd arcade game :
Ch 3 plane on landing strip.
g'son did the 1st one for me :
the ship arcade game in level 2.
no skips & arcade games...
scared "Lions, and tigers, and bears! Oh, my!" scared

Re: The Tiny Bang Story - New IHOG on BigFish - 05/17/11 01:11 PM

No skip for the arcade games?
That's unfortunate.
I don't suppose saves are transferrable either.

Re: The Tiny Bang Story - New IHOG on BigFish - 05/17/11 01:30 PM

nah, Jenny
and you are on your own pretty much
as for what to do next duh

someone else would have to comment as to saves, sry.

Re: The Tiny Bang Story - New IHOG on BigFish - 05/17/11 01:49 PM

Hi, katbear50!

After many, many, MANY attempts, I was finally successful. As soon as the countdown ended, I immediately went over to the extreme right. The trick is to avoid the trees and oncoming enemies so, when you see them coming, use your right and left arrows to get out of the way. With a little patience, you'll get through it.

Good luck!

Re: The Tiny Bang Story - New IHOG on BigFish - 05/17/11 01:51 PM

Hi, Flo!

That's good to know because, the next time the "Hint" button doesn't respond, I'll start checking inside objects. I wonder why the little bird doesn't circle the object that the item is hiding in.

katbear50,

I was stuck at the same place for awhile. Then, I just got "lucky" and zigged when zigging was needed and zagged (well, you get the idea)and finished the second arcade puzzle.
I was so excited! Hopefully by now you will have coasted through to victory.

I have completed the game and loved it. Thanks to all the GameBoomers who blazed the trail before the walkthrough was available.

Jenny100, It is not a quick reflex arcade game, it's slow paced, you just look ahead at the obstacles in your path and move the cursor up and down accordingly. If you are watching your path it's easy and painless.

Yes, as Ana stated,
it's not quick but rather slow & jerky.
I have physical probs, including tremors,
that make these kinda puzzles extra hard for me.
{actually, if you look @ my Real of Fictional Docs Puzzle in the Garden,
you will see how I shake just trying to number my items w/Paint and the
pencil' thingy.

I was enjoying it Ana, til the 2nd arcade game. Kept trying and finally gave up. Anyone have a saved game file for this?

I don't think the game is capable of taking a saved game from another player, unfortunately.

Phew! I finally got through the plane arcade in one try...........after attempting about 10 times yesterday, the day before and the day before that rotfl Today I zigged to the left and zagged to the right with a safe landing.
Since my granddaughter is playing it too, I refuse to ask her to do the arcades for me LOL. She just loves showing me up when playing these games. rotfl

The astrolabe has me floored, no matter What I do it won't line up!! Spent 1/2 hour trying today and gave up. Shame as I was Really enjoying the game.. even managed the first arcade quite quickly once I worked out the strategy!!

I never found a strategy, I just kept turning it and it fell into place.

Re: The Tiny Bang Story - New IHOG on BigFish - 05/23/11 10:17 PM

Click on the large circle and keep dragging around and around until it will line up. It doesn't matter whether it's clockwise or counter clockwise as long as you stick to one direction.

I did it!! Went in this teatime and it just clicked!! Wasn't totally straight but I got my green light!

Hi everybody... like the title says, I can't get the map colors lined up correctly. Does it reset if you exit out of it ? And the walkthrough at Gamezebo doesn't say how to solve it---I'm so stumped. Wish there was a skip for this !
I keep hoping I'll just get lucky, but no luck so far.
Anyone else have a problem with this puzzle ? BTW, I'm loving this game !!!! It's too fun; and just the right amount of difficulty , despite being stuck on this.

Re: The Tiny Bang Story - New IHOG on BigFish - 06/02/11 10:54 PM

I think we're thinking of different puzzles; sorry if I described it incorrectly. It's the tri-colored map, where the colors have to align -- yellow, aqua, and pink --- the wheels are the same size ; you just have to have the pattern right.
I'm about to give up and see if someone has a saved game they could e-mail me ...arrrgghhh...
Thanks for any advice !! smile

Re: The Tiny Bang Story - New IHOG on BigFish - 06/03/11 03:16 AM

Found the hint on GZ ; what is kind of strange is I didn't have to even do the astrolabe at all; I clicked on the airplane and advanced to the next level.
I'm liking this game enough to play it again after I finish this round. It's so cute !!
