The two chickens are ready to get involved in yet another tale of loss, friendship and conspiracies in Chicken Police: Into the HIVE! To celebrate this clucking great news, a brand new trailer teasing the hen-some duo’s next adventure has been released.
When Chicken Police: Paint it RED! launched in 2020, the narrative noir adventure was lauded by the press and received many awards with its complex interrogation system, mystery-solving detective gameplay, and visual style consisting of artistic photo manipulation and lifelike 3D backgrounds. It became one of Metacritic’s best 100 PC Games that year, and IGN Japan dubbed it “Game Animal Of The Year” (GAOTY). In 2021, it won the awards for Best Adventure Game at the Chainsaw Game & Music Festival and Excellence in Audio at the Spring 2021 edition of DevGamm!
Now, together with Joystick Ventures, The Wild Gentlemen is working around the cluck to dive deeper into the city of Clawville with Chicken Police: Into the HIVE! As society slowly begins to collapse, Sonny and Marty embark to crack the biggest case of their lives — one that will take them into the insect underworld and force them to face the darkest reaches of their past. Experience more of the series’s grim story, gritty atmosphere and absurd humor, wrapped up in a mystery-solving investigation inspired by point-and-click adventures and visual novels.
In this character-driven film noir detective adventure, you must gather clues, interrogate suspects, and use your creativity to solve problems in a variety of ways to uncover a world-shattering conspiracy. While freely exploring Clawville and its 35+ locations, you will meet more than 30 fully dubbed characters, each with their own role to play in this dramatic tale of murder, betrayal and love. Besides the main story, there will be a myriad of side quests, pathways and opportunities to explore in Chicken Police: Into the HIVE!
Will the legendary cocks come up with a plan as they step into the secrets of the shrouded insect underworld, or will they have to wing it once more?

I did not play the first one, Chicken Police - Paint It Red!. I thought it looked a little strange, not my taste in games. The characters threw me. It does have an "Overwhelming Positve" rating with over 1000 reviews giving it a 96%. There is a demo still up for anyone who might be interested in it, got me thinking about giving the demo a shot. Look at all the nominations and awards "Paint it Red" got bottom right of game page "Paint it Red" did so well I guess they decided to do sequel. Why not??? I believe Into the Hive! will followsuit. It sounds really good. I might have to get over the chicken thing Thank you Ana
