all that's left to do is some clean-up work Create solutions for the clues by using the available syllables. The number of syllables in an answer is followed by the number of letters for each clue. Syllables are used only once. When the clues are correctly answered, their first and last letters, reading down, will reveal someones sage advice. Example: Syllable puzzle [4-12] (solution: syl + la + cros + tic)Starting Syllables: A ATE ATE ATH BALM BREL CLE DI EH EM ER ET FIL FOOT FUN GEN GI HA HE I IM IN JECT LA LA LAS LAW LETE LO ME MI NAL NIC NO NOV NU OB OUT PATH PAWN PER RAG RAN RATE RO RUS SAKE SCE SU TA TER TI TIC TOR TRA TU UM WEED Remaining Syllables: Advice: <------- = 1. A NARROW PATH [2-8] = 2. JOCK [2-7] = 3. SPY [4-11] = 4. FROM SOUTH OF THE BORDER [3-6] = 5. BROLLY [3-8] = 6. RAGWORT [2-7] = 7. ALIEN [2-2] = 8. WONDER WOMAN [4-9] = 9. FAREWELL [3-5] = 10. RURAL [2-6] = 11. QUESTION [1-2] = 12. MOLDS [2-5] = 13. INSTANT [4-9] = 14. CALENDAR LABEL [1-3] = 15. BRING FORTH [3-8] = 16. PRESERVE [2-6] = 17. SCORE [1-4] = 18. HOCK [1-4] = 19. DISSENT [2-6] = 20. PANORAMIC [2-6] = 21. DEPOT [3-8] = 22. BEHALF [1-4] = 23. ILLICIT [2-6] = 24. CORE (PL) [3-6] = 25. ARACHNIDS [4-10]

Good morning Gerry and Curly Curly given the proximity of the letters 'r' and 't' on the keyboard and my propensity for OLO's on occasion I'm confident you encountered the infamous OLO (one-letter-off) post which visits me occasionally, therefore I suspect your #7 Alien post was actually ET And I also note given the time of my original post that manXman actually squeaked under the wire in time to be included with " most excellent solutions" .. one and all category! Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
