I have two problems with this game.
1. I can't save a game. I've tried and it looks ok but when I try to load it there is nothing there.
2. I have repeatedly tried to jump over the stream that the lady walked me to but I can't see a landing place on the other side. I have failed each time. Is there a special place to jump to? All I see is a lot of grass and some large rocks and an arch. I tried to jump to the arch but didn't work. The problem is not the jump, the problem is the landing. I keep landing in the stream and that goes to a cutscene which takes me back to the previous scene with the boy meeting the lady.
Help would be appreciated. Thanks
Kay

Yes Jenny I did. The problem is not the jump, the problem is the landing. I keep landing in the stream and that goes to a cutscene which takes me back to the previous scene with the boy meeting the lady. Kay

Kay, I also had to jump a lot of times before I landed save on the other side. The most important is the point where you start to jump. Try very carefully and look what you have done, so you can choose another point every time It take some patience, but keep trying.

Josefien, thank you. I finally managed the jump. It was a matter of finding the right take off and landing spot.
Jenny, see above, and thanks for your input no matter what. I appreciate your efforts always.
Becky, thank you also. Since the one remaining problem is the save game. I played through half of the game last night after discovering the jump point and when bedtime came I discovered that the save I thought I was doing was not saved at all. AARRRRGGGGG!!!! I will try your suggestion, it seems like there is a place on the screen that I failed to see. I didn't receive any instructions with the game about saving and loading so I had to go by all previous games played. When I try to save I press F1 and go to the menu. From there I click on 'save'. That shows me the small image of the spot I want to save. The only other spots I see are the two circles at the bottom right of the screen. One looks like a right arrow and the other takes me back to the menu. HUH???
Will be back as soon as I take another look.
