Okay, Natty. The first thing you should have done was find the switching station and put all the switches in the upright position. This will allow you to make all the stops around the lake. The schoolhouse and the whark gallows are the two main places you want to visit (schoolhouse first).

If you get to the whark gallows and the floor isn't closed, you won't be able to get out of the sub. You will have to go back near the dome on Jungle Island and find the mechanism to close it.

I suggest you start drawing a map of all the places you can go under water. Note in particular that there are often turnoffs behind you as well. Make sure you go down every track.

When you get started there are only a limited number of places where you can get out of the sub once it surfaces. One of these is on a platform at the bottom of a cliff. Climb the ladder up the cliff into a small room with switches.

Each time you get in the Sub, you need to turn it around BEFORE you go forward to a node.

You may be looking at the wrong thing. To get to the top you have to raise the bridge that you initially used to enter the dome from the rotating room. The handle to do this is located next to the doorway inside the dome. You will then need to enter the dome from the Crater Island side, turn the handle to join up the walkway, go round through the door on the side that leads to the side entrance of the rotating room, and reconfigure the rotating room so you can get to the ramp.

You must rotate the Temple room until you can cross over and climb to the top.

Hi, Game Freak. Are you also playing Riven? It might be easier if you started your own game thread, otherwise it gets confusing as to who has done what. Also, you have to be more specific in your questions. What door where? smile

question: i accessed the grid with the marbles and evidently turned something on. NOW... i am supposed to go to the dome via location 6 to get to the linking book dome (around the gold dome), but where i am heading to and what am i supposed to see along the way here? am i to take the cave room or the tram or just what here? confused... lol p.s. thank you.

Basically you can go to any of the rotating domes. Don't worry if you can't find the one near the main dome. They all work the same so if you have correctly solved the marble puzzle any dome will do. You would have found several of them in your journeys so far. There is one on each island.

If you want to find the one near the main gold dome you need to go into the dome and walk around clockwise until you go out the lower exit of the dome. You will walk around until you come to an area just before a tunnel which is a little platform lift that forms part of the path. There is also a button on the wall on the right hand side. Press the button and you will descend to a lower level. Follow the passage to the Temple Island rotating dome.

Yes! But you need to figure out how to stop them spinning to use them...
