Hi Boomers,

I put four balls numbering 1-4 on one side of the scale and four balls numbering 5-8 on the other side and the scall is equal..what do I do next..if they are even how do I know which ball is unique...and how do I know if I got it right...I added and took off balls which I can't remember now, but the tube started to turn around and the balls where back in the place of the beginning of the puzzle...I am reading the walkthrough but don't understand what i am doing..

I know I have to find the unique ball to go to the elevator tube...and if you start a new game the balls are mixed up and new balls are added....

Help: Confused big time.

After you put the four balls on each side of the scale you have to push the button for the balls to actually be weighed - I think it was a green triangle, although I could be wrong - it is definately on the front of the scale - I got stuck here waiting for the balls to be weighed before realizing I had to push this button.

Hope this helps.

Hi MaG...finally got through the Ball puzzle, I just kept reading over and over your walkthrough and began to understand it better and after 4 tries, I got the unique ball...thanks, now I know the way you explain it on wt help me get through it...anyway thanks for the offer for a save...

but now I am at the part where the cart of dynamite is and I got it to fall into the sea, but there is something I am missing the other dynamite that is hanging up from the machinery and can't for the life of me find the ladder to climb and use the knife on...On the machinery there is a metal door and the hand icon goes on it and when I click on it, Ariane doesn't do anything....I know I have to climb up there where the dynamite is hanging, but don't see a ladder.

In your wt, it says to click on the ladder on the metal door..and climb up and use the knife on dynamite...which metal door...the only metal door I see is the one on the machinery and I click on it and nothing.

I must be blind, because I don't see it....this game is very touchy...

Help please...Liz

Housewife -- the ladder is on the outside/upstairs platform by the main elevator that takes you down into the mines.

Put balls number 1,2,3,4, on the scale to your left, then put balls number 5,6,7,8 on the right scale, weight them. If they are uneven and the left scale is heavier, remove ball number 2,4 and put them back on the original spot where you got them before putting them on the left scale...now take any ball from the right scale to make each side have 3 ball even, weight it...doesn't matter if the scales are even or not...now put the rest of the balls equally on each side leaving one ball number 4 alone, don't weight the balls, just click on ball number 4 and it should go in your inventory and it does that is your unique ball..

I did this three times and three times that I did it the number 4 ball was the unique ball all the time...the trick was when I put the rest of the balls on each of the scale, I didn't weight them just click on the remaining ball number 4 and it disappeared and went into my inventory....

Good luck--hope this helps....Liz

If it doesn't say unique ball when it transfer to your inventory is not the right ball..keep at it and eventually the unique ball will be in inventory...but before you go to the elevator check your inventory and pass your cursor on the ball and if it say unique ball that is the one...

bravo MBS!

Just to add a hint - Each ball weighing needs two clicks - one to even-hold the pan and one to actually release the pan to weigh.
