This is currently being tailored for the Xbox-One, but there's no reason it can't be "ported" or re-engineered to PC. It's all just software interfacing with a wearable peripheral. The Oculus Rift opened up some new avenues for Virtual Reality, now with Microsoft taking advantage of real time scanning technology the Star Trek Holodeck seems closer, well minus the energy-matter conversion thing.
