Hi. I have the GOG release of this game - which I've just installed. However, there is no God Mode available for it and although I did download a trainer some time ago I've somehow gone and "lost" it So I'd be most grateful if someone could please direct me to a safe trainer download that should work with the GOG version of the game Thanks. I don't know if you're a member of cheat happens but they have A trainer here There is also detailed instructions here that show how to enable the cheat console. Hope this helps.

Hi oldman. Thanks very much for that info I am a member at Cheat Happens, but, although my email address is still registered there, it's such a long time since I visited that my user name and password don't comply with their current requirements !! So, I've had to email them for assistance Cheers. Mad

In the meantime, I've started playing and have done alright to date. But, of course, at this early stage I haven't come up against any major enemies When I do is when the need for a trainer will most definitely arise

Mad, there are many Russian trainers for Risen 3, like this one. I am not sure if it has English version as well though...

oldman I got help from Cheat Happens Support and was finally able to log-in - but the trainers they offer for Risen 3 are for "Steam" releases and mine is from GOG. So I've posted on the forum at Cheat Happens. And I've also posted on the forum at GOG Iurii Thanks for the link but I couldn't manage with a Russian one and I don't see any mention of "English". I have seen trainers at Gamepressure but I need to find out if they are compatible with Steam or GOG

Mad, I've used this guy's trainers for years and never had a virus or problem so, with that in mind, I will give you this link: Mr. Antifun It also has a small video with it to show it in action. I hope this helps!

Mad I've found that most trainers on Cheat Happens work on all versions of the games although they state Steam version. What I would do is download the most recent trainer and hit the F1 key at the main menu and if you hear "Trainer Activated" then you'll know it's working.
If it doesn't work it won't effect anything.

Debra Thank you for offering help. I signed up etc at MrAntiFun, so as to be able to download the trainer, but when I did download it, it was immediately deleted by Norton who said it was a "Trojan" virus - so I haven't asked for it to be "restored and excluded". oldman :-) I downloaded the 64-bit trainer from Cheat Happens and it too was immediately attacked by Norton - who quarantined it - but only as a "false positive" so I did restore that one and ask for it to be excluded. Then I tried it out on the game and it worked !! Yahoo !! Thank you SO much for the help !! I will enjoy the game a lot more now knowing that I have some aid to hand if I badly need it - which I know I will .... Cheers. Mad

Got a query about joining factions .... According to info I've read on forums, Risen 3 isn't like Risen 1 or 2 in that you can join all three factions. However, the Gamepressure walkthrough contradicts this and says you can only join ONE !! So now I'm not sure what to do

You can do the quests for each of the factions but once you have accepted the rewards for a particular faction and I believe receive the armor etc then you are locked in to that faction.
What I did, and it's been a while so my memory is weak about the game, is do each one up to the point of committing and then deciding which faction to join.
I think over all I preferred the Demon Hunters (I think that was the name).

Thanks, oldman I'd been playing Risen 3 the same way I played the first two games. Doing as many quests as I could for "everyone" until I joined a particular faction. Then I went browsing (purely out of interest) to see which faction players might have preferred, if any. And that's where I came across the posts that got me confused. So, thanks for your confirmation !! It's as I suspected. Once you properly pledge yourself to a faction you are tied to that one I'm really enjoying the game. I very much liked Risens 1 & 2 and this 3rd is certainly not disappointing
