Thought I'd post this up for those that are CD Project Red/Witcher 3 fans. So this has been bouncing around for about a year now, but just found someone with a good video excerpt from the conversation between Ciri and Geralt. The Witcher 3: Ciri describes Cyberpunk 2077 world At the 2:39 mark on the video Ciri describes the world to which she escapes via a portal, saying: "....People there had metal in their heads and waged war from a distance using things similar to megascopes. And there were no horses, everyone had their own flying ship instead...." As a refresher, here's the Cyberpunk 2077 Teaser Trailer After reading Ciri's comments and watching the teaser trailer again it's hard not to draw a comparison. Many people have surmised that this will sum up to either future crossovers between the two franchises or possibly a cameo by Ciri or a related Witcher Easter egg in Cyberpunk 2077. While the two worlds are tremendously different, from a dimensional perspective, anything is possible. I'm curious what the forum thinks about the potential for this wild cross-over. Would you like to see it developed more or does the thought of two vastly different settings mess with your immersion?
Q: What's the difference between a quantum mechanic and an auto mechanic?
A: A quantum mechanic can get his car into the garage without opening the door.

Okay, I'm intrigued. A sci-fi/fantasy crossover would be cool.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Yep, lots of interesting bits in that exchange. Notice she mentions that they were in that other world for "...half a year...." I can't imagine there wouldn't at least be some major Easter egg considering someone of Ciri's powers, not to mention a dimensional traveling sage hangs out there for that long. Magic vs. cybernetics, some really interesting mashups could come out of this if they play it right. Update: Oh just thought of this. It could be a set-up for a future expansion pack where you could play Ciri or the Sage in the Cyberpunk world, how cool would that be?

So...now that I've almost finished Witcher 3, I can say that I absolutely would LOVE a crossover game. Definitely.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Yeah, personally I think doing a crossover between the two would be brilliant. What a way to open a whole new segment of The Witcher. Ciri mentions the worlds and times they jumped between; that generality opens up the potential for a ton of prequels no matter which way the current timeline in The Witcher goes. They basically employed the same technique being used for Star Wars.
Also, being a huge fan of Cyberpunk styled games I'm going just as crazy for CD Projekt Red to solidify the rumor that Cyberpunk 2077 will come out this year as I am for Bethesda to verify they will start work on the Elder Scrolls VI. Arggh!

So many games, so little time...and I'm retired! I still have many games un-played in my various libraries. Mass Effect 3, for one. I was going to play the trilogy through, and then Dragon Age Inquisitor arrived, and then Fallout 4. I keep telling myself I shouldn't buy any new games until I've played some of the old ones, but then something else comes out.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Maybe to upgrade your hi-tech armour to Grandmaster. Or for a multi-planetary gwent tournament.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I figure I have to live to 125 to watch all my DVDs and play all the games I own. I haven't played a full fledged adventure game in years, spend too much time in either Star Wars: The Old Republic on the darkside or Big Fish games on the casual. At one point I started Cognition chapter 4 but never finished it. Still installed.
I'd return to adventure games but now its double xp week in SWTOR.
Currently Playing: Adventure Game: Broken Age Darkside: Star Wars: The Old Republic

Part of my problem, if you want to call it that, is that I replay certain games endlessly. Baldur's Gate 2 I must have played 15 times, and Thief Gold, Thief II and Deus Ex GOTY probably the same, I've had multiple plays of the KOTORS and Dragon Age Origins and PsT and Icewind Dale, and so on, and the list of unplayed games keeps on getting longer. Eventually I get tired of them -- I can't see myself ever playing another game of either of the Baldur's Gates or Icewind Dale -- but that takes a lot of plays for some games.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
