Thanks for the information on Nighthawks - The Vampire RPG. Should be interesting since they mention their influence as Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. TM
I feel a lot more like I do now, then when I first got here

No thanks. I don't care for the post modern notion of a) taking away most of the vampires supernatural strengths and weaknesses and b) trying to make them some how heroic because society doesn't believe in God, Satan, good and evil.
Currently Playing: Adventure Game: Broken Age Darkside: Star Wars: The Old Republic

Yes, those are very strange news... But Wadjet Eye is just the publisher here, not the developer. So there is hope Dave Gilbert has not yet abandoned straight adventures! Yes, this is an important point. And Wadjet Eye has published other games before this - several, in fact.

Weren't they all adventure though? I don't know. But adding this game to Unavowed, I'm seeing a trend away from adventure.

I found this comment on Steam, posted by someone who is involved in the new game/Kickstarter project: Don't worry, Dave's 'just' the producer - he'll have plenty of time for other stuff :-)

I checked a "demo" at YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dahKsicAGFgand Nighthawks seems to be closer to a "visual novel" or "interactive fiction" than what most people think of as an RPG. I didn't notice anything resembling combat or action, only conversation choices. The "RPG element" seems restricted to choices you make that determine what type of character you end up playing.
