I just finished this game, Waterfall Prisoner, didn't see it mentioned here at GB when searching, please forgive me if I missed it. If you are familiar with the games I prefer (I am old and have been around here a long time) I can very enthusiastically recommend this game. I don't know why these types of games are now being put into a category called Escape games as to me they are the Adventure games I long for and should be called that, Adventure Games. Released Sept 1st 2023 and available on Steam for $9.99 where there is a Free Demo for you to try it out. Take a look and if you do try it, let me know what you think?

I really like the looks of this one Greyfuss. Nice find! I love these types of settings: the stonework the lighting all the knickknacks.....the entire atmosphere looks great, a nice castle type setting. May I ask how you found it. You sound upset that it has the tag "Escape" attached to it. It has a several "tags" starting with "Adventure". Did that escape tag somehow stop you from finding Waterfall Prisoner earlier on?

It appears that the developer considers it more of an escape game. The developers make their own Steam pages.

I downloaded from Steam and it was very buggy on my newer iMac. Seems so many games I can't play on the newer macs.

KatieB have you tried partitioning your Mac to cater for older games? That is what I have done so that I have Mojave os as well as Catalina with most of the games on Mojave (although my Mac is not exactly new, being late 2012!).

I picked it up today. Many of the puzzles shown are very simular to Big Fish's HOS'. My wife and I have played simular on countless BF Games. This should be a breeze, hopefully not too easy. Waterfall Prison looks like a very good game, alot of fun. Thank you GreyFuss
