Has anyone else had any problems with Big Fish lately? Solitaire Cruise kept freezing up on me, which I got a free game credit for. Now I can't get another game to activate. I have never had any problems with this site before. What is going on?

Lisa, have you notified the people at Big Fish about the problems you are having? They may be able to help you out...luck

They just changed their whole system. I don't like not being able to load the games into C or D drive, and wrote to them about it. They are working on it and they are really helpful and nice folks.

I went and tested a new project that they are working on, and it was really fun. Signed a waiver that does not let me tell about it though.

I am sure they will get the problems fixed and help you with your game.

Lisa, let us know how it works out.

Horsedancer, I'm with you. I'd like to be able to download the games to my D drive, not my C. I hope they get that worked out soon puppy

I got another game credit but I still am not able to activate mystery solitaire. It keeps wanting to uninstall Mysteryville which I don't have on my computer. No clue what to do next.

I would guess that they gave you another game credit because they ran out of suggestions on how to fix it Momn8or. duh My only suggestion is to email them again or purchase the game from another site. At least BigFish was kind enough to reimburse you.

Major probs. with bigfish right now I think. Never had probs. with them before.
Don't know where to try and d/l the trial of Dream Chronicles elsewhere anyone know??? frown

Elli try playfirst and see if they offer Dream Chronicles. I'm pretty sure someone told us about that earlier this week.
Good luck

Does anyone know if they will be fixing this major problem so you can download and install anywhere?

Hi,
I d/l Dream Chronicles from Big Fish and have not had any problems either with the demo, or after I purchased it. bravo

I would try again and then look carefully at the error messages if any - and get back to Big Fish. They do respond personally to e-mail.

I can check again, but they did say they were working on it.

luck

I too don't like the new system I liked it when you could download the game where you wanted. I downloaded a game and it was a large file and it took 7hours and 30 min. I have a notebook at my Dads which is wireless and then my desktop which is on land line. I tried to get the games off my notebook to here but they spread files out that I can not get the games to work on my desktop. I have told them many times and no answer to the question. I get better results here on Boomers and I am glad of that. Thanks for listening.

My response from Big Fish:

Response (David Chang) 07/27/2007 02:18 PM
Hi Judy,

Thanks for your interest in Big Fish Games! Currently you can only install our games on the C:\ Drive instead of other drives. We are aware that this is a issue for many of customers and are working to add a feature in future versions of the Game Manager that will allow you to install games to other drives. Please look for this feature in the coming weeks. In the meantime, we appreciate your patience on this matter. You can try downloading a trial game in a few weeks in order to test if this feature has been implemented. It is still not possible to put our games on discs at the moment, as we use protection features which make it harder for our software to be pirated.
I hope that this solves the problems that you've been encountering and gets you back to playing your games. If you are still continuing to have issues, please let me know. I'd be more than happy to further assist you! Have a great weekend.

My 2nd request to be able to load to something besides C: Drive.
Customer (Judy ****) 07/26/2007 04:06 PM

I inquired right after you changed the d/l format about enabling installation on my D or E drive. I am involved in a discussion on Gameboomers on this subject, and told folks that you were working on this issue. What progress has been made? I need to be able to load to another drive besides my overly full C drive - or possibly put the game on a disk?

I will relay your response to Gameboomers!

Thanks,
