don't like time management, too much like work.

don't like hidden object, not enough like a game.

do like zuma/luxor but already have them and don't really need any more games that are exactly like that.

do like games with good stories but they're kinda hard to find.

do like fun action games like fizzball and peggle.

Want to play DragonStone but it's still not out as far as I know.

waaaah. what should I play?

Try the demo for: Magic Match, and/or Lotto Deluxe.

Magic Match is a match 3 (or more) but has a different twist to it. (I usually don't like the match 3 because they are mostly all the same.) Lotto Deluxe is a game I'm addicted to. It's sort of like Bingo. You get 6 cards with numbers on them they are scratchoffs. Each of the 10 rounds you get numbers that you match to your cards. The object is to get the most points or money. There are whammies you can throw on an opponent, and other extra things. There are different levels and you climb up. Hmmmm think I'll go play it now.

Prices are going up everywhere except in our incomes.

Have you tried The Golden Path of Plumeboom?

I liked Peggle and had lots of fun with Plumeboom. It is easier than Peggle though. luck

If you like Solitaire type games I would recommend Jewel Quest Solitaire/Match I & II or Fairway Solitaire. You can try the demo's on Big Fish.
I also d/l the demo of Season Match from Big Fish, which tells a cute little story along with matching. Did enjoy the demo.

You might give Tradewinds 2 a whirl. I think it's the only casual game I've ever liked. It's basically a fun-and-easy "sailing ship" game---fighting off pirates and whatnot. The cannon-firing is automatic---just click to get it started. Good look. Good humor. Good game. thumbsup

Puzzle Quest or Fairway Solitaire. Also, Azada and Safecracker. I enjoyed Peggle too.

If you want something different, try Garden Defense. It's a tower type game. One time management game that will recommend is Farm Frenzy though keep wanting to go cow frenzy. No time limit--just get awards (gold or silver star) if complete in that time. Some arcade games can be played in story mode: Chocolatier (sell chocolate and reunite lovers), daVinci Code (match 3 while finding path), Aveyond (old style rpg with lots of quests), and Venice Mystery (matching game where to try to find and build a machine to keep Venice from sinking. Also go to game.giveawayoftheday.com and try out a game. Usually have a different type of game each day.

Never resist a generous impulse.

How about Cradle of Rome and Cradle of Persia? I am just crazy about them. I love buying the buildings and winning the people.

I also went bonkers over El Dorado Quest and am on the 2nd play-through.

For thinking I enjoyed GemSweeper and am enjoying Prism quite a bit. Garden Defense is a hoot! I thought it was too easy but I never got too far into the game. If you belong to BigFishGames you might still be able to get the 5 free games for trying the new download manager and Master of Defense is similar in nature but harder IMHO.

The Golden Path of Plumeboom really is fun and so is Fairway Solitaire.

Have fun!
Linda

So many games, so little time.

I was going to suggest Gemsweeper is a good one....Linda beat me to it.

A few have mentioned peggle, so I am going to try peggle...downloading it now...I'm quite intrigued to see what this game is.

Do you like jigsaw puzzles at all? I recently bought jigs@w 2 from BFG and I'm addicted! You can change the size and shape of the puzzle pieces and you can create your own as well. A really neat feature is the "export" feature. Just select the puzzles you want to export and it bundles those puzzles up into an .exe file that you can send to friends and family. I think this is the best $6.99 I've spent this year!

Azada is very cool. Return to myst. island or Journey to the center of the earth are really good. So is Safecracker.

I would also recommend some of the farm games, like My Farm and My Exotic Farm. I enjoyed Farm Frenzy as well. You can see a list of these games and some other news ones, like Ghost in the Sheet on the new games page at casual game guides.
