Just FYI, in Room # 16-2nd Floor, Central Bldg, Gallery 02, if you are asked to find 10 "thinkers" I found 8/10 but the last 2 are difficult even using the hints. You just cannot see them but the cursor will move when you finally find them. This is to save someone out there from random clicking - like I did since I just couldn't find them even with the hints - I haven't looked but maybe Margie's w/t will show the locations of all 10.

If not, use the hints and then very slowly move the mouse in the general area and wait for the cursor to move.

luck Linda

Click to reveal..
**edit: ok, one is by the chair, towards front bottom of it and go slowly - the other is on the wall extreme right of screen and bottom of it - start looking and working your way slowly up the wall. You really can't see either of them.

Hi Linda,

It's actually not in my walkthrough. We sometimes limit the amount of screenshots in a game like this one. We mainly focus on other kinds were hints can't really help you. If anyone needs it I will be glad to send you a screenshot of it.

I'm almost finished this game and have enjoyed it more than any casual game yet. (& I've played a lot of them.)

No doubt about it ....this has been the best casual game yet. I'm nearly finished, but I'm sure I'll play it again.

Exceptionally above average casual game. bravo

No timer, Pulsing curser to assist when you are not sure what the item looks like (which you need due to the penalty for random clicking), unlimited help, good mixture of things required to do, nice story to go with it as well....and I agree with the comments made regarding music...I keep thinking I should "call a friend"! grin

Hi sassycat55 and welcome to Gameboomers welcome

I don't have an answer for you but you can check the Gamezebo walkthrough and see if it's noted there or use an in game hint to help you out.

Sassycat55,

Go back to back to page 2 of this thread and you will see a link for the walkthrough for this game.

When you get to the walkthrough scroll down to level 27, East Wing, Hallway 2. Click on the screenshot to get a better view of it. It will show you where the gas valve is located. In order to pick up the gas valve, the lights must remain on. There are some instructions on what to do as well on there.

Good Luck,

Margie B

Sassy your question was answered this morning by Margie. Please stay with the original thread to find answers that have been posted to you.
You can find them by clicking on My Place at the top of this page and then on My Posts.
Also any question about a casual game will be in that forum only.
Thank you

Sue

Hey Ana,

Here's the SCREENSHOT for the location of the thinkers (It is not in the walkthrough) The picture came out dark for some reason but you should still be able to see where they are.

I downloaded the trial today & after playing thought it was well worth while buying. I like the fact that the 'puzzle interludes' are interesting & integrated into the game rather than being seperate things in themselves, & that the HO scenes are quite challenging. Thanks to everyone who mentioned the pulsating cursor - I hadn't realised until I read here! smile

Thanks Margie, I found the 2 I couldn't with Lindas description. I think this is a first for me in needing help with one of these games. I couldn't see them even though the curser was pulsating. lol Shame on them! shame

Enjoy Chrissie!

Glad I could help BET.blush

BTW, has anyone played through a 2nd time? I was wondering about re-playability. The game was so long that I haven't tried starting over yet.

Hey Ana, You're too funny!

That's pretty sneaky to add items that you can't see, you're right shame on them :-)

Margie, I'm very undecided how I feel about this game. I'm usually a person who likes or dislikes and not too much in between. I really wish this would have been one I beta tested because I would have had a lot of feedback. grin

Linda..I need to buy time to play them once, I'm not sure if the items change at all.

Hey Ana,

What is that you don't like about the game? I'd be interested to know your opininon.

I've played the game many times but I've always played under a different name.(I do that to make sure the W/T is correct)
I seriously doubt that the game is different once you play it again. I find that the majority of HOGs rarely have a high replayability value.

Margie, I have to say that the foundation of the game is great but I feel the escape the room parts are no brainers and I would have liked a challenge. I feel a little cheated when I get to the next room because it was all laid out for you.

The paintings would have been better had they been more of a challenge also. The shapes are cut out and the pieces are turned ready to go.

The flashing curser is a pain that I would like to have the option to turn off and use as a hints system.

There are some items that without the blinking curser would have been impossible to find. Those should be banished. grin

I believe that when I hit the Hint button I have given up and therefore I want it to tell me where it is. I despise not being able to find something after asking for a hint especially since you need to find it to move on.

Now...believe it or not, I am enjoying the game. I just see much more potential here then comes across.

Well said Ana and I do agree with all of what you say. I like the cursor but think it should be voluntary and not mandatory for those that would prefer not to have it (me? - I needed it).

And too many items are invisible until after you use the hint system - a few are invisible even after you know where they are from the hints.

I didn't care for the paintings and would have preferred a jigsaw type of puzzle.

But I still loved playing this game and was almost sorry to see it end. I liked the fact I could escape the room within minutes and they weren't all too simple for me. Maybe they need to have easy and expert options?

Enjoy playing and Happy Easter!
Linda

I love jigsaws Linda, I would have preferred that as well.

I would not make it through the game without the blinking curser either, but I feel it isn't because they are cleverly disguised items, I think some are impossibly disguised items. I want them to be possible so that that the curser blinker isn't necessary except for when I myself have an occasional duh moment.
I would love that feature in all games but as a turn on/off choice.
