Nope. I played the demo and then when it crashed to the destop I purchased the game and had to start all over at the beginning since I hadn't saved my progress anywhere. I was only in Chapter 4 but had solved it.

I bow to your expertise to make it to chapter 7 in 30 minutes praise

**edit: I looked at the walkthrough to see where I was and didn't know that each stonehenge puzzle is another chapter. I would have thought the entire area would be one chapter so I was in Chapter 6 when I crashed - so you are lucky you only had to go back to Chapter 3 duh instead of all the way back to the beginning.

So many games, so little time.

I'm curious about this 30 minutes trial thing. Is this game really short and they decided to cut back the trial period? I got to chapter 11 before my 30 minutes were up (I skip all the meditating mumbo jumbo) and wondered if they made it 30 minutes because some people can actually finish the whole thing had it been 60. Anyone know how many chapters there are in total?

ive heard that it is kinda short, like the first one was. the walkthrough says 25 chapters so if you got to 11 youre not quite halfway

Ahh, ok thanks. Had it been 60 minutes I might have been short 1 or 2 chapters, in which case I would have been a bit miffed paying for the rest, then finishing it within 5-10 minutes. So the 30 minute trial is probably a good thing!

I hope it's not the beginning of a trend though. Sometimes I'm feeling quite different at 45 minutes than I was at 30. puppy

Of all the demos I have tried only a few were limited to 30 minutes. Some I am sure I got a very generous hour.

I like Dream Chronicles even though they are short games and buy them to encourage the developers to keep developing. But I wait for the BFG membership price - this way I can encourage lots of developers rotfl

So many games, so little time.

BFG's policy is always 60 minutes unless the developer requires otherwise for us to launch the content.

I am feeling so...guilty.
I don't know if anyone has had the same experience. A few months ago I downloaded a HOG from another website (not BFG) can't remember which one-played for the 60 mins.

Forgetting that I had already played the demo, I recently downloaded again from BFG and found that the 60 mins started where I had previously left off. I was able to finish the game within the allocated 60 mins. Do certain computers keep stuff in their registries or is this a problem that BFG can sort out so I don't feel so bad. (I'm so honest, it hurts!!)

I have also found that sometimes I can played a HOG way beyond the 60 mins, and have only stopped because I have been playing for 2 hours or more and it's my bedtime.

Thanks BFG_Guy for letting us know that.

Upsy, I've heard other people say that they have been able to do that, but I've never had that experience.

Perhaps a note to BFG is in order to let them know that happened so they can check into ways to prevent that.

Hi looney4labs,
Yes, I will do that, the game was Forgotten Riddles, downloaded first from Arcade Town.

The meditating on completed jewels is a mini-game in itself and it's sort of fun. smile.

This is very interesting!! I have downloaded some trial games, but have deleted them when I finished & then have bought them from BB or WM, etc & when I install them they already know my name. I don't think I have every started where I stopped off tho.

Richard,

Open your Microsoft word or Word pad, if it has pictures.
You can use text document, if no picture.
Highlight what you want on the wt that you need.
Paste to the open document.
Then print it from there. luck
