I'm currently exploring the metro tunnel seeing what I can find (I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be here yet or if it doesn't matter.)

I got the magnetic access card and uncovered the "ratio" plaque. So far what's left for me down here is a locked box in one room (where I picked up the gross cloth), the room with no handle, and the laser room. In the laser room I only see the two buttons on the control panel that don't seem to make any coherent words (no matter how much I smash them) and all other hotspots seem irrelevant.

Am I missing something? Or perhaps the story hasn't progressed far enough yet? Or is everything self-contained down here for me right now?
What am I aiming for on the laser-room panel? How do I accomplish this?

Thanks for the hints!
William

In the 'laser' room you need to use the red buttons to spell out a word - the clue's on the plaque. smile

I could be wrong about this, but I think I had to complete a puzzle elsewhere before I could punch in the word correctly.

kiosk puzzle
At least I know in the way I was playing I had to return twice. But hints folks, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks!

I've entered in the codes for 4 of 5 slogans (I haven't yet found the 5th kiosk).

I assume I should just continue advancing the storyline until I come across the 5th kiosk then?

From Nickie's reply it seems like you might have to locate all 5.
When you enter the codes don't forget to:

look at the corresponding poster to see how they've changed.

Hi I'm stuck again and I need another clue.

Phoenix has delved even deeper underground and can't return to the surface. All I can do is play with the computer that wants to play chess or tic tac toe. Every other function is password protected and nothing I can come up with works!

Could someone offer up a clue as to the password please? Is it hidden in the hacker's manifesto or whatever I have in my inventory? Or is it on the indistinct writing on the wall in the tunnel? Somewhere else?

Thanks,
William

Hi William

Choose to play tic tac toe - type 0 and then click enter key - this will cause a computer error (not your computer, the computer in the game) - you will see a sun scene - you will then be able to leave the room.

Hope this helps

RAL

Thanks for the help -- but I'm stuck again already!

I'm on the switchboard puzzle, and I'm pretty sure I've connected each electrode properly to its appropriate colour on the right (both red and both green left electrodes, one blue) just following them along like a maze. I've even pressed the green button on the right side after doing so.
But nothing seems to trigger... am I missing something more entirely? It doesn't seem possible to hook EVERY line from the left to the right, but I still have connectors left over.

What am I not getting?

Thanks

After pressing the green bar on the right, did you press the bug square on the left? It should light up. If you did that and nothing happens you have made an error in your connections and will have to try again.
There should be 3 vertical connectors at the top and then 7 horizontel connectors below these.
If my memory serves me right you don't use up all the connectors - you do have some left over.

Hope this helps
