I received it from InteractCd today. Dave was very fast in the delivery to Australia (under a week). Kudos.

One problem is when I tried to install the game my virus s/w (McAfee) picks up a program Adware-PornKings in the extract dll. I googled this problem in relation to the game and found another instance but only in relation to McAfee. It's either a bug in McAfee or ... well it's hard to believe a malicious adware program has got into the game's install program. Hmmm...what to do...

Honeycomb -- errr, really? You might try posting about this in the Glitches forum and see if any of the experts there have ideas about it. You could also contact Lighthouse Interactive Tech Support.

Thanks Becky. I installed it despite the warning and then did a scan. It was all clear. I think it was just McAfee being overly suspicious.

Looking forward to the game next weekend.

cheers

Saw Overclocked at EB Games. Placed at the bottom shelf, displayed sideways - front cover not seen, EB Games should give a new release game more prominent display.

It is quite difficult to browse for games at EB Games. They have a section for PC Games, but they do not classify the titles into New Release, Adventure, Action, Simulation etc like a book or music store.

Same at Circuit City ... looked for about 10 minutes, nothing in order and they only had one box.

Great game, 2 dvd's one to install, one to run.

Darlene,
Just my opinion, but I would recommend Overclocked. It is very dark and atmospheric. Not for kids. Point/click dialog driven story. The story follows a logical progression. Nice graphics. A rather short game overall. I enjoyed playing it, but thought the ending was kind of weird.

I loved the early easter egg ... the bus stop by the pier had a "moment of silence" poster, the guy said: "hmm a game by some unkown people and developpers".

My local Best Buy has about a dozen copies of Overclocked. I didn't buy it because I'm in a drawing for it at another site. That and since they had fewer copies of Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened I decided to get it instead.

I ordered it from Amazon this morning. I was going to wait for some reviews but I'm a big sucker for this type of game and I really enjoyed Moment of Silence, so I thought why not. Can't wait to start playing. laugh
