I have escaped the duel room and is in the hallway with the blood,sweat,and tears puzzle and skull and hat. 2 of the bars was removed from the gate after completing both puzzles but the door has another bar on it,therefore I can't enter. What do I do now or what am I missing?

Double check that both puzzles are done. If they are correctly done, the bars will open.

It might be the skull puzzle. Have you used the syringe on the skull puzzle already?

The syringe was indeed the missing piece. It never cross my mind to use the darn thing. Thanks a lot Mag.

Took me a while to deduce that part.

Forgive me for barging into this topic, but I'm also stuck in this place. I was able to do the skull puzzle without much trouble, and I hear the bar move when it's completed. I've done the blood/sweat/tears puzzle at least a dozen times (and I'm pretty sure I'm doing it correctly) and can't seem to make it work.

Help?

Have you tasted the 3 liquids using the cup?

Double check that the gates have been opened correctly to allow the liquids to flow, but not to mix with a different liquid.

The gate pattern should look like this:
