Hello to all, first time posting but been a regular visitor to the site for some time.

Re: The Blue Pentagram Puzzle
I do hope this will help. I finally figured out that it was completely (at least for me) impossible to complete this task while using the track pad on my laptop. After reading the walkthrough directions and looking here on the boards, I finally got it into my head to Click, Hold and Drag to draw the pentagram. The walkthrough says only to click and hold. Well I tried this for a few hours with the trackpad to no avail. Finally, it clicked in my thick head, why don't you get a mouse and try it that way. Within a few attempts to gauge the speed at which the line would draw I had it!

I do hope that this will be helpful.

Hi kinetic, welcome to GameBoomers.

Thanks for the tip, glad you got through this puzzle. smile

The walkthrough does state that after the click-hold, to form a pentagram and move at a steady speed. I wouldn't want to attempt that using a track pad though, for sure!

Thanks for the welcome. I probably should've made it even easier on myself and plugged in my drawing tablet instead.

Hi Dolly,

Which gargoyle did you choose for your profile? My saved game was played under profile 1, so if you are playing in another profile you will need to start a new game in profile 1 - and you will be able to load my save from there. luck

Dolly, MaG sent me a save for Dracula 3 last night. At first I couldn't get it to work. It was a save numbered .068 and my saves ended at .017. I tried to rename it .018 in the list under my profiles in the profile one folder and no go, it wouldn't change. Warned me and gave me no choice to click yes or no. It didn't show up in the game either. So I deleted it, redownloaded it to my desktop again. I renamed it on the desktop from .068 to .018, it warned me, but gave me a yes or no and clicked yes, and then drug it over to my profile list in the profile one folder. Then tried it and it worked. The save was last on the list in the game, with a different date than mine. I went in and played and saved again.

Hope this might help. wave

Koalanut, that is really useful information - I think that is why so many Boomers are having problems with getting their Drac 3 saves to work for them. Now we know why. Thank you. kissy

You're welcome Rushes. MaG was so kind to sent me the save so quickly late last night. Then it wouldn't work like a save did for me before. But the last time I was on the XP. This time I was on the Vista laptop. I couldn't get the .068 save to work as it was nor could I change it and then get it to work, so I thought why not change the number before it gets into my profile one folder and it worked. I am close to the end and would hate to have him stuck there! lol

Glad to help, everyone here has been such a help to me! thanks

I have done all the blood tests as stated in the walkthrough and Father Arno has stopped saying that the entries are not right. But he hasn't exactly said they are ok yet. I have gone over them again even checked the old ones to compare. I can't move on, What could have I missed? Any ideas?

Johnnycowgirl,

Best to stick to this new thread you posted on now. The rest of your postings are in another thread.

Which blood test? Blood typing or Nuclear cell typing? I did not look up your old posts because they are somewhere on another thread.

Me again, I have done the blood tests over and over, I put the blood back in the test tube mix it and test it again, infact over and over again. I'm dizzy. The numbers just stay the same.I am going out with the dog to make room for apple pie and custard although it's too late really. And while I'm gone some lovely person could send me a save just after the blood tests, Thankyou, I don't know what I'd do without you all.

Thanks Rushes, I had trouble finding the last one, I have Vista and some things are just bit different compared to Xp. But it feels good when you've solved a problem. As long as I don't have
to test loads of blood. smile

Yes, it's arrived in the game save list. I'm off to sample more delights. I mustn't stay up half the night againnnn.......
Bye for now
Thanks again
