I am at the gate puzzle and I am getting my rear kicked. I even got the WT to help but still can't get it. I am starting to think that I am relaying the info wrong. My ? is when you move a tile say FOR INSTANCE: Move 2 to 6 and you do that and then it tells you to move 6 to 5 does 2 become 6 and then or do the tiles always keep the number that they started in? I hope I am clear on this but I didi'nt want to use the ex: from the WKT so I tried to make up my own EX. Because I really want to get this done and also on the WK it says that this is one of the solutions but the numbers break off like in 4 different sentences do I need to do this one possible solution from the 1st number to the very last number no matter if the sentences break off? I am so sorry I am trying to be clear. Thank Ya'll So Much for ya'll's help on this.

Thank You
Sisimoma

Sissi,

The numbers in the picture of the puzzle is the position of that square - not of the tiles that are being moved.
So when you move 2 to 6. You move the tile that is #2 position to #6 position.

I am on the same game you are but advance more.
I use the walkthrough by MaGtRo - just number the space/tile a number 1-16. first row 1-4, second row 5-8, third row 9-12, fourth row 13-16. example start - tile 2 goes to the empty space, tile 1 goes to the empty space, and so on.

Hope this helps..

I am playing the senior lvl. and this time the tile I started with which was 7 has been the main tile that I have been moving to 11 and then that means 7 is now 11 right and so when it says to move 11 to 15 I would move that tile to 15 and when 15 goes to 14 15 is now 14 right I have just been moving my first tile shich was 7 every number it said to. I am so sorry I am having such a HARD time with this thank ya'll for ya'll's help. I am trying very hard to get this right.

Thank You
Sisimoma

rotfl Hahahaha. That's cute.

Let's do the first 5 numbers: 7 11 15 14 13
1. You click on tile at position 7. So it moves to position 6.
2. Click tile in position 11 and it moves to position 7.
3. Click on tile in position 15 and it moves to position 11.
4. Click on tile in position 14 and it moves to position 14.
5. Click on tile in position 13 and it moves to position 13.
And so on and so forth.

Mag, i love your sense of humor just when I am so frustrated i look at your post and it gives me a great smile and that push to keep going, Thank You

Ok, lets do your suggestion. I compleetely appreciate it. Thank You. I think this might open my eyes. You know it is so horrible that they use to give us these kind of puzzles in school and BAMB I had it nip in the bud I could just see it but I guesss I am in a complete Brain-[blip] on this one.

Thank You,
Sissi

P.S. I can't find my smiley's I don't know how to getthem back they use to be down where I cold get to them but they are gone. Anyway's Thanks Again!:)

So I need to move my first tile to the empty position and I should keep doing that (maybe)? Well Let's try. I feel like I am letting down Texaslady so bad too and that is bothering me too. She could have allready done this puzzle hundred times and here I sit like an idiot.

Perhaps try thinking of it this way.

The numbers of the squares never change. They are always at the same position.

You move the tile that is in the square number in the instructions.

The tile moves yes, but the square and its number never does.

So... after you move a tile forget about that tile and what its new location is and just move on to the next instruction.

Sorry about that. I need sleep then.

Let's do the first 5 numbers: 7 11 15 14 13
1. You click on tile at position 7. So it moves to position 6.
2. Click tile in position 11 and it moves to position 7.
3. Click on tile in position 15 and it moves to position 11.
4. Click on tile in position 14 and it moves to position 15.
5. Click on tile in position 13 and it moves to position 14.

Just concentrate on the position number in the step by step - it will automatically move to the empty space.

To get the smileys - click on the "switch to full reply" - you will see a separate page.
Click on the smiley icon.

Hi sissi,

I combined your 2 threads together.

Looks like you are using the wtong plate.
For the invitation, use the plate that is on the press already.
Plate 01000011 is for another puzzle.
Without placing any plate on the machine proceed with inking, paper, pressing, drying. luck

Mag I have almost finsished the tile puzzle could I send you what I have and could you help me with the last three spaces and putting the last tile in the right position?

Thanks,
Sisimoma

Ps. nevermind It looks like i messsed up and didn't save it just my luck. Not just that great news of they day I can't put any papaer on the p-rinter without the plate automatically coming out and laying itself on the printer and still nothing but the weird keyhole and circle thing which when done drying automatically goes into my inventory this is getting all very too much for me I am so frustrated I think i should just start over from the very get-go and see what I am missing I just don't know I have looked into the WK and the other threads and I just seeem to go 1 step forward and 2 steps back. headscratch cry mad

Why don't you play up to the point where you left off but following the walkthrough. Check the steps off on the wt, so that I can help with a saved game if needed.
Then once you reached your stopping point the first time, you can ignore the wt.

Hey Mag,
I am doing the invitations and i did the one's that she wanted but the WK says to do some more and to use the plate that is onthe machine now and dry i9t and place it in the basket but it won't let me it just automatically goes into my inventory and it just has 2 symboyls on it . and the plate also went into my inventory.
Am I doing something wrong? This is the type of stuff that confuses me. Thanks Mag

There are 2 plates there.
One is on the press table itself on the left of the wheel - it is already in position to use.
The other one you pick up with a number is taken from bottom right of the press - you use that later.

So as I mentioned earlier, just place the ink on the plate that is on the press table and use paper. Do not place the plate that you have taken in inventory.

Hi Sissi,

Make sure that you are standing in the main castle grounds, well away from the castle itself and any pathways.

The lever on the jetpack is problematical. To get it to the halfway point, it needs to be done in one smooth movement. Place your cursor to the left of, and slightly below, the halfway point. Then left-click-hold and drag your cursor slightly up. The lever should now move straight to halfway.

Try that and let us know how you get on. luck

Edit: Glad you got through! Please remember to use the Edit button if no-one has posted after you, and not to stack your posts. thanks
