Can't wait for this one. I just finished 4 and it was a fantastic game. Could someone tell me what a psychogram is ?

Cathy -- it sounds like there are certain actions during the game where you have a choice. The game keeps track of your choices, and at the end, compiles them and analyzes them to tell you your gaming personality type, issued in the game as a psychogram.

At least, that's what it sounds like. I took an online personality gaming test once, and found out that I think just like Guybrush Threepwood. Explains a lot, doesn't it?

Hi all Just wondering is the 5th game going to be in DVD Format only or will there be a CD Version. I sure hope there is a CD Version because i just happen to look at the DVD version requirements Core 2 Duo 2.5 GHz, 2 GB RAM, graphic card 256 MB (GeForce 7600 or better), 2 GB HDD, Windows XP/Vista. And unfortunately i will not meet those requirements.
and i was hopefully looking forward to this game . I had a great time playing Simon Sorcerer 1,2 and 4. I didn't like Simon the Sorcerer 3D because it wasn't really an adventure game it had to many arcade and action scenes. Which i don't like in an adventure game.

Even though i am not sure about a cd version yet.Here is some good news i just checked the games company website and they have the requirements as

Minimum: Windows® XP/ Vista, DirectX® 9.0c, Pentium 4 2.0 GHz or 100% compatible CPU, 512 MB RAM, 2 GB available hard disk space, DirectX® compatible graphics card with Pixel Shader 2, DVD drive

Recommended: Windows® XP/ Vista, DirectX® 9.0c, Pentium 4 2.4 GHz or 100% compatible CPU, 1 GB RAM, 2 GB available hard disk space, DirectX® compatible graphics card with Pixel Shader 3, DVD drive

Which is good news for me because my computer meets the minimum requirements.

Thanks for posting this snoopy. I totally agree with you in that I loved Simon 1&2 but the third chapter was a real let down. I also need to get a new machine to match the required specs of Simon 5 but at least I have an excuse now .

I sincerely hope that the system requirements for Simon 5 are as "snoopy" posted or I am scuppered !!

I just finished Simon 4 and loved it! Its my first simon and I will not buy the 3rd one because some are saying it is too much arcade is that true? I like the graphics in Simon 4 are the same graphics used in Simon 1 and 2 also? Which one do you recommend more Simon 1 or 2?

I am really looking forward to Simon 5. What I loved about the game is I hardly ever had to look at the walkthru. The sense of humor was my favorite part of the game and the graphics and voices and storyline. Ok come to think of it thats the whole game isn't it?

Although I love both Simon 1+2, I prefer Simon 2.
Mostly because the interface got a bit better.

As for Simon Simon 3D - well, it's really not that bad or hard once you get used to the keyboard controls.
If you set your mind to play, then I do believe you'll enjoy it.
I too disliked it when it first came out and never did play it until recently...

Simon 1 and 2 came out about 8 to 10 years ago so the graphics are completely different.

Here is a reply i got from the simon the sorcerer forum about a cd version.

Ok, it looks like as if the game will only be available on DVD in Germany. As for the rest of the world, well...if there will be a CD version that will be up to the publishers of the game in each country.

I have the disk version on pre-order but CD or DVD isn't specified - it's just described as PC Game

German demo released, be patient because is approx 585 Mb!
