I need fish candy for the youki and have already given it to the little girl. I went back to get more candy when I learned I needed it but cannot!
For this try (via a walkthru) I put the 5th coin in the middle machine but I can't get the fish candy. Stuck! thanks for any help. Doris

Hi Doris,

Are you able to retrieve the coins you've already used from the machine drawers? See if you can do that and then use the second coin from the left on the fish candy machine. luck

Yes, I have all the coins in my inventory. I did as you suggested and used the 2nd coin from the left on the middle machine....No luck. Any other suggestions? I have spoken with Malka and found the youki asleep.

Yes, after your reply, I went back and made sure I had used them all ..but how about the machine? A walkthru said to use the middle machine for this fish candy. Boy, I want to get something moving on that railroad track.

Yes, the middle machine is the fish candy.

Do you have any candy in your inventory? Double check to make sure it is not the fish candy. Malka thinks fish candy is yuck, so Kate might not have thrown that down to her - you may still have it.

Yes, Rushes, I have sugar candy in my inventory but no fish candy. This is the reason I am writing....no fish candy.

Thought it worthwhile to check with you, just in case. It's easy to overlook an item already in your inventory, believing that it's something else. It happens! smile

Check again that you used the key on the middle machine and emptied all the coins in the drawer there. You say that you retrieved all the coins, but possibly only from the left machine? Trying to cover all angles here. luck

My dear Rushes, thank you. I went back and perservered and I believe it was the mechanics of the machine that had me stymied. I kept doing the same thing (it seemed to me) but finally !! I got my candy. I was so frustrated with that dusty old place. Away I go into the snow!

I have checked all 3 walkthrus and cannot find my problem. I have the train inside the village, I have spoken to the spirit woman ....I have handled the inventory asked for, etc. BUT
I can't get the flask to hang on the hook so I can get it filled with water. I get the symbol with the X thru it each time I put the bottle anywhere around... including where the walk thru pics show it. HELP! and thanks, Doris

Hi Doris,

I merged your two Syberia threads together. Please stay with one thread per game, it helps us follow your progress, thanks

There's a helpful thread HERE relating to the same problem you are having, that you might like to take a look at.

Good luck, and let us know if you still have problems.
