I thought that once you touch the clothes that it would save you where your at. How come every time I start to play (after I quit for the day), that it takes me back to where it begins? (by the fence and the "No Trespassing" sign?

You must play through this desert part and reach your relto(safe haven) to start auto-save,however any cloths you have touched in this part will be remembered. You will not have to touch all the cloths each time you return here, only the ones you havent touched yet.Hold down both mouse buttons to run to get to the crevice quicker so you can continue your search.

I'm at the next location "Relto", and got to Teledahn (still trying to get the sun lined up for power), and then quit for the day. The problem is, now that this part is saved, how do I get the linking book again when you restart in Relto at the hut? I can't go any further until I touch the linking book again. I was able to touch the cloth in Teledahn, but when I restart the game, I'm back at Relto, and can't find the linking book where it should be.

Kozykat60 when you open the totem in Relto and link with the book the first time, that transfers that book to the shelf inside the hut.

Just go in the hut and open the Teledahn book and link. thumbsup

kozykat. Since the game always restart from the Relto, go inside the Hut and to your left to see some book(s). Did you get all the books from the pillars in front of the hut?

The Teledahn book is orange. Click on it and press the Journey cloth to go back to your game in Teledahn.

Good luck. luck

Can I just touch all the pillars and I would be able to get the books even now? On the shelf there are only 3 right now, one green, brown, and the one with the cloth in it.

You can do that, however I think it's better to wait and finish them in order.

Finish Teledahn, and then proceed to the next, be it Kadish, or Eder Gira, or Eder Kemo. yes

I don't believe it makes any difference which order you do them in.

I touch the orange book with the cloth and symbol on it, and then the game just stops. I don't go back to Teledahn. What can I do to go back there and be at that hut like I was yesturday?

kozykat, when you open the Teledahn Orange book, what do you have in the pages?

You should have the image of Teledahn for a direct link to the hut and the hand to get you where you are in the game.

In Teledahn, did you touch one or several hands?

In Teledahn, I touched the hand on the hut.
In Relto, the orange book had just the hand in it.

kozykat, did you try to get back to Teledahn to see if your game will stop again? I must say I do not comprehend why the game stops????

Can you turn the pages of the book to see if you have other things?

I would stick to what Chief says Kozykat..'cause i somehow had lots of books on the shelves and i went EVERYWHERE and whoa...did i ever get confused...(i kinda stay that way but this was really bad!) after a bit i realized i needed to stay in one area till pretty well done there! It has been a long time since i played but i think because got all the beginning books and did some here, some there that i stumbled onto the ones for the To D'ni and Path of the Shell....so they became available on the shell too...that is what i mean Kozykat. Like Chief says...stick to doing the first 4 one at a time...believe me...there's plenty to see and do with those!!! The one thing about this Complete Chronicles...you truly get your money's worth in game play...weeks and weeks...months ..... There are a couple of walkthroughs here at the 'boomers and they're really good...one of them has a lot of pictures which i found very helpful.

I guess I won't be able to play this game on my laptop, the game keeps stopping when I touch the link to Teledahn. My husband says there isn't an updated game card for my laptop, so I have to play this on the regular computer, (unless someone has a suggestion for me).

The only thing I can think of is to turn off "shadowing" in utilities. Most laptops cant handle this.

ok, I'll try that when my husband gets home, I don't know where it would be located and he knows more about computers than I do.
(he's pretty good at it).
