I got this game at an incredible price from Big Fish and was really enjoying it until I got to the second battle of Bull Run. The objects, which are very, very tiny and very, very faint in this game, seem to be getting smaller and fainter as the game progresses. So much so that I simply cannot find them...even with a magnifying glass. I checked for a walkthrough but the only one I found gave a list of objects different from the list in my game.

Before I give up and delete the game, can someone point me to the official walkthrough? And, are there indeed different hidden object lists for each game?

Thanks for your help.

Cappy

Cappy,

Is this the one you checked? Margie's walkthrough.

Yes, MaG. My game lists fish which the walkthrough doesn't list and my game doesn't call for my finding some of the items the walkthrough lists.

Most games do not have the same list of items. Is there a hint button you can use?

Yes, Ana. There are only 3 hints covering multiple battles and when you push the hint button, the area only flickers with a tiny light for approximately 2 seconds. It's very easy to waste a hint if you're not looking at the exact area of the screen. The hint system isn't user-friendly like most other HOGs.

I know, we have multiple threads on that here.

If you want help, you can always post a screenshot (directions on the stickied post on top of the forum) and we will try and help you.

Thank you so much, Ana. I didn't realize there were other threads on this game. I thought it was very new. Actually, before I post a screenshot, I think I'll check out the other threads. Maybe there will be an answer there.

Thanks, again, for helping.

Hi Barb, it was released in April 2008 so if you search the word CIVIL and go back 2 years, you'll get all the threads.

I did just that, Ana. What I learned from the previous threads was it isn't going to get much better. So, I guess I'll just discard it. Too bad. It had potential. Oh, well. At least I didn't pay much for it.

Thanks a lot for all your help here. GBers are the greatest!

Barb
