I'm doing Rhiannon Four Branches.Everything has gone smoothly (but I find it rather hard), until I'm in the stone building, lower level where I use crowbar to open trapdoor filled with water. The walkthru then says "take the ladder hanging on the top shelf at left. I found it, clicked on it, but it will not let me take it into inventory - it just keeps going back on the shelf. What have I missed? Celtic colleen

Celtic, did you see the scaffolding at the right side of the house?

You can go there from the kitchen door. You will then be on a potting area. Look to go on the side of the house that is being worked on. Forward and then turn around. Look up to see the scaffolding above.

Good luck.

Rhiannon - I've progressed to where I must find a wand. Walkthru says to go to the chapel-cemetery via Area 2 road to river and since I've heard the phone message about the key to cemetery, I will now see stepping stones to go to the other side. But alas, I can't find those stepping stones. What am I doing wrong? celtic colleen.

The way to get there is the blue gate right of the orchard, right of the lake and left of the stone buildinb.
When you go through that blue gate - walk forward and see the steppings tones now on the river. Go across to the other side and be at the chapel-cemetery.

Rhiannon - Got to cemetery via your instructions, found all the tombstones, but at the tomb of Rhiannon Boswell where is a circular stone at bottom with a cross-shaped hole at center, the walkthru says to click on the hole and make a remark - what does that mean? So I clicked on it and got the icon to use something. So I left cemetery, took the boat to Boswell's office, opened the safe, tried to take the scroll and antique tool, but it would not let me take them. Somewhere along the line, I missed something. Can you help me again? Thanks, celtic colleen

Make sure to examine the paper on Boswell's desk, also read the diary in the desk drawer from cover to cover - this is important. Examine the nameplates at the bottom of each of the 4 portraits, if you haven't already done so. luck

Rhiannon - As per your instructions, I examined the paper on Boswell's desk, read the diary cover to cover, examined the four portraits, opened the safe, was now able to take the scroll. But when I clicked on the antique tool button, it only showed two points, not four and I could not take it, naturally. Do you think it has something to do with clicking on the round circle with the cross at the bottom of the tomb? I feel really stupid at this point.- but want to finish it. celtic colleen

You need to click and have a comment stated on that cross- indent at base of the tomb before you can take that antique tool.

Thanks, Chief!

Karen, I also answered your question on the new thread you made. Please stay with just one thread per game and not duplicate post in other threads - it helps us here. thanks wave
