I apparently "used" the flatware cabinet key earlier in the game before I knew how to solve the puzzle. Now that I'm back to that part of the game, I no longer have the key. I need help, please!!! Any suggestions other than that I go back through 1/2 the game or further to get it again???

If you previously used the key then the cabinet will still be unlocked. Left click on the keyhole and the door will open.
