Hi all...I'm playing "Tales of Monkey Island: Lair of the Leviathan" and am stuck. I am at the part where Guybrush is trying to get to Flotsam Island and is playing around with DeCava's locket. I know what I am missing to make the puzze work but I don't have it. Somehow, I managed to get to this section of the game without having that in my inventory. I would hate to have to start all over again from inside the manatee to get the item. That's alot of work. Does anyone have a suggestion (or a saved game)?

No need to start over again. Go back to the inside the manatee - place where the bongo player is located.
Remember that Morgan threw the autographed picture after Guybrush lost the first contest.

Dumb question MaG...How do I get back into the manatee?

Click on the water and you will dive down to the bottom again. You will see your friend the male manatee.

I've done that and Guybrush just tries to talk to the manatee. What am I missing?

You walk the plank and dive down.
Use the seahorse head on the manatee. he will swallow you since he likes seahorse.
