Have you lit the torch using the matches?

Yes, the torch is lit. It's this particular disc that is a piece of junk, MaG. I'm just hanging it up but thanks for all your and Rushes efforts. It was gratefully recieved.

If you haven't already uninstalled the game, I can send you another save past this point, fizzypop. At least this way you'll get to play through to the end. Just let me know.

Thanks Rushes. I'll give it one more go since I'm so far along. Got my fingers crossed that it will work. smile

Wow Rushes, this is great, thank you. And I think the problem all along is the order of things being accomplished. I ran into the same problem of things not working when they had worked before. This is after entering your second save. I got into Translyvania and the castle and realized that I couldn't proceed so I went back to an earlier save to see what I had missed but things couldn't be done that I had just done. Pondered on it awhile and it dawned on me. I was doing things just a bit differently and it's enough to upset something in the game. If actions taken are not done again in the previous order, the game won't proceed. Viola!

What a quirky game.

Anyway I need a bit of help again if you don't mind. My brain has had computer meltdown on the crypt door and is not computing how to get the puzzle door open. Read the instructions on the WT but it's not making sense to me. Could you give some tips, please?

It can be also that those actions have already been done in the saved game you're using - that is why you can't act on them anymore.

To save time:
Turn the top left bars to: green, white, blue, blue.
Then turn the bottom left bars to: green, white, red, white.

Hi MaG. smile Thank you, this should help. Wonderful place here where ya'll take the time to help someone so much. The instructions were just garbled in my mind. My oops, no one else's. Some other time, they would have been clear as crystal.

Quote "those actions have already been done in the saved game you're using - that is why you can't act on them anymore."

If the actions had already been accomplished in the saved game, I would have seen the holy water in the inventory. Wasn't there. i really think it was order of the actions that were performed. But who knows anymore. Things can become mixed up in my mind sometimes. So thank you both very much.

Well, I can take a breather now and get back to the game. But I think I've gained at least 5 lbs.
