Crash's walkthrough states that you use your hand on the aquarium to try to break it.

Be sure to do what Crash stated to do before trying to break the aquarium:
Look at the aquarium.
Taste it.
Try to get the trident. Wow, this carnivore fish are hungry.
Ask the
man about the fish.
Try to break the aquarium with your hands.

Hi Grommitt smile

Once inside the Ministry of Import/Export, SAVE your game.
Look at everything and talk (to Watson and anyone else) as much as possible.

[This part of the game can be a little tricky.]

You are supposed to eventually see Misteray drop the key (trident) into the aquarium but even if you don’t see him do that, it should still be in there, and either you or Watson must shoot at the aquarium so that the cat gets the fish - before you can get the key.

Hope that helps.

And good luck with this great old game !! thumbsup

Cheers.

Mad grin

EDIT :
MaG !! You beat me to it lol
And supplied a slightly different solution than the one I found in my old notes.

Thank you for your help. But, I cannot get the balloon for Sherlock Holmes 'to brea the aquarium', neither can I get it for shooting. I followed the steps. Where have I gone wrong?

Dave Timoney's walkthrough HERE has a step-by-step of what to do and who to talk to and what about - it might help if you haven't already looked at it.

Otherwise let's wait for help here. smile

Thank you for all your help. I found out where I had gone wrong, after reading Crash's walkthru. When I rescued the pistol from Thames, I did not test it.

I have been able to finish the game.

Thank you again, one and all.

Where did you purchase this game? Isn't it an older game? Is it in first or third person perspective? Glad you were able to get through it.
