Hi. I have decoded the first letter (part one) with no trouble but the blue letter to Janos (part two) is incredibly hard. Don't know how you figured this, MaGtRo; amazing! Thank goodness for your walkthru's. So... the decoder numerals are set to what are specified in walkthru and the wheel was turned on each to spell out the first five letters of the month on the envelope but now the whammy comes in to work.

When I try to type the coded words from the page, the wheel of the first letter of the month (A) keeps turning by itself and giving me gibberish. I fixed the wheel back to the proper letter over and over but it keeps turning and now some of the other letters are turning. I've exited the game and also the shut the pc off but I had already saved after the first part of the decoding and now thats where I enter the game again... the second part of decoding. Ouch. Can't get any further.

Be sure that you have checked - looked close ar the envelope. Use the enlarger on the date stamp. and checked the Janos note taken from his pocket at the shed.

Then work on that paper taken from the secret drawer.

Bars: Enter II V IV I III on the bars of the decoder by taking a bar and clicking it on the bar you want replaced.

Month: Enter A U G U S on the letter above the bars of the decoder.

If I remember correctly: The rollers do turn when you type in the code. It adjusts to the code that you enter.

See if that works and keep us posted. luck

Yes I am working with the code paper from the secret drawer and using the AUGUS and have the bars set to the proper numerals. But I will try again since you say they roll anyway. Maybe I just needed a break. smile

Edit: I did need a break! I missed a code word before and just stopped there when no sensible words came out.:o Everything worked great this time and I'm rolling along. Thank you MaGtRo.

Oh, hi Rushes. I meant to get back to you and Mag on the 'Dracula Origins' help you gave. I had so much going on recently and had to stop playing before finishing the game. I can't stop a game for weeks and then go back to the stop off point because I won't remember the important things I need. I'll get back on the game someday from scratch. But I very much thank you both for your splendid help.:)
