When I first entered the post office early in the game, I saw this tip in the top-left corner:

I've looked very carefully, and I didn't see any talk-bubble option... anyone knows where it is?

Also, in MaGtRo's walkthrough, it says:
What is the "Big Head mode"!? I didn't see it anywhere in the option screens I have in my game. Instead, I have the "Activate hotspot show mode".

All I can tell you is that my game is the same as yours. MaG may have been playing an earlier version of the game.

Given the choice between "Big Head Mode" and "Active Hotspot Show Mode" I'll take "Active Hotspot Show Mode" any day.

I played the early publisher release. So I think it was a different version as yours.
They must have revised a lot of things for worldwide distribution.

Those big head mode pics are hilarious.

That makes sense... but what about the speech-bubble option? That was mentioned in my own game, in the tip you can see above, yet I didn't find such an option...

My game is the same as yours, SirGraham. I got that same notification about the "Speech Bubbles" option, and there is nothing about "Speech Bubbles" in the Options menu. But there are a few Audio volume options if you click on Sfx in the options screen.


I wonder if there's an Easter Egg that triggers it in the game.

Mystery solved You can unlock this option if you take a picture of Bob blowing bubbles in the Willow Creek museum. Then go to the extras menu and activate minigame #5. You'll see that the option has been added to the options menu. It's really funny actually.

I saw speech bubbles when I was playing the game.
I hit the space bar and see who I could talk too
and you would see the bubbles. Also when I rolled the mouse over someone the bubble would show up then too. Thanks again for telling us about how to unlock the big heads mode. I think it may be a combination of pics because of what old lady said in one of her posts. Just a thought.

Well, I used a clean config with none of the extras unlocked, then I took a picture of Bobby blowing bubbles, and it unlocked minigame #5. But yeah, it's kind of odd because of what old lady said in that other thread. I posted a question for her about her in that thread.
