Hey, does anyone know of good role playing games to download full version to play?

What do you mean by download Full version to play? Most RPG games are available via download. Are you asking for a free RPG game?

I guess I am. I just find good games in stores for pc any more, any suggestions?

yes, it would be nice to see if there are those types of games out there still for people to enjoy. The more I can play these games, the less I tend to smoke cigerrets. It helps me more than any other method I've tried.

Check out the Adventure Game Studio website for freeware games. Created by amateurs using the AGS engine made by Chris Jones (whom you may know as Tex Murphy) some are surprisingly good and one or two are, IMO, as good as pro games if, perhaps, not as polished. Here's their listing of Award Winners.

I'm not sure you'll find anything like Myst, but it's worth a look.

That was only a demo which won Best Demo Award last year, but thanks very much for noticing, traveler!

It's worth mentioning here that nominations for AGS Awards 2010 have just started (ending in 2 weeks) and the final 2010 winners will be revealed and added to the database by the end of February. Who knows, maybe I'll win some award for my full game this time.

Oh, I didn't notice that bit earlier - the AGS Chris Jones and the Tex Murphy Chris Jones are 2 different and completely unrelated Joneses.

Btw people with names of Jones and Gilbert seem to somehow have special qualifications to do well in adventure games.

There you go. That'll teach me to believe everything I read on the Internet. <g> I saw it somewhere and it made perfect sense to me that Chris Jones and, well, Chris Jones were one and the same. I just thought this was one multi-talented guy. Darn! Wrong again.
