Scratches or Socrates? Which is it? grin

That's great that this classic adventure game is now on Big Fish.

Great news! Players are in for a treat. I'm tempted to buy it again and play it again (even though the retail-box version is sitting right here). lol

I wonder how different it is? Funny, I just pulled it out to replay.

Does anyone know what the Director's Cut has?

The Director's Cut has enhanced audio and graphics, a hint system and a diary, and an additional end sequence called "The Last Visit." wave

I'm definitely going to get that then. I remember the game kind of left you hanging. The sequence may or may not clear up stuff but I'd like to see it.

Thanks!

According to the stickied Win7 thread in Glitches:

You must edit the Scream.CFG file. To accomplish this in Windows 7, go to C:/Program Files/Nucleosys/Scratches. Find the Scream.CFG file and right click. Select Properties and from within that window, change the Open With option to either Notepad or Word Pad. Change the Rate from 0 to 60. Save the file, exit and restart the game.

But I'd suggest trying it as is first, without tinkering, to see if the BigFish version has taken Win7 into consideration (it doesn't look like it).

No need to tinker! I can confirm that Scratches now runs "out of the box" on Windows 7 64-bit smile
