I would like to know if anyone knows how to solve the following problem for the game Alone in the dark 4....I installed the game but everytime I try to play it I get a black screen with a message saying

ERROR : Please report this to the PC developement team (press ESC to continue)

Invalid chunk (fffffffg ffffffe4 26 6c) at offset 0 (0x00000000)

Someone please help!!

Have you tried playing the game in XP Compatability mode?

It might not be a bad idea to try using compatibility mode, I found a similar thread on the Atari forums but the issue was never resolved.

The game was designed to run under Windows 9x, so try changing it to that.

I tried it but It didn't work
