I have the VERY old Windows 95 versions, and wondered if there are patches, etc., that would enable them to be played on Win7 ?

Would like to introduce them to grandchildren.

Hi DRabuzzi -- I suspect that you will get a faster answer to your question if I move this to the Glitches forum, where the experts are used to hearing Win 7 questions. grin

Thank you. Wondering if the Myst 10th Anniversary Edition would be better to use?

The 10th Anniversary version uses a later version of QuickTime, though it's still pre-Windows 7.

You could also check out the GOG version, which states it's for Windows 7.

Even the Myst Masterpiece editions take a huge amount of tweaking to get them to run. It's not impossible, but it's almost not worth it. Our Windows 7 and Games thread stickied at the top of the Glitches forum goes through all the steps. I don't know about the old 95 editions. I'd go with Jenny's suggestion about the GOG versions.

Once again, weeds are my life!
